What's on F107? Don't feel like downloading the manual atm (at work).
If F107 is for any sort of solonoid/lighting/etc, I would be suspicious that something had shorted, and pulled the voltage down enough to reset the game before the fuse blew - and would be ready to remember exactly what was happening next time it happens, to aid tracking down the issue.

Is the 6.3 VAC from the transformer that's used for GI the same input that (before the fuse) is rectified to get the 5 VDC for the electronics? Short a bulb (through any number of mechanisms), and if the fuse doesn't blow fast enough, it'll pull the supply voltage down enough to reset the game....?
It's plausible, at least.
