This is the post guarding the entrance to the piano scoop on Twilight Zone. From straight on, it appears vertical. But from the side you can see it's leaning slightly back. It doesn't move when I push on it and ball strikes rebound solidly. Currently has no ill effect on play other than possibly making is marginally easier to hit the piano.

First off... Is this slight tilt normal for this post?

If not, should I leave well enough alone or attempt a repair? Never done it, but I'm assuming I would pull the post, epoxy, redrill and reinsert. Is this generally the best or recommended fix for something like this? Alternative solution? Is the epoxy as or harder than the wood it replaces? I certainly don't want to makes things worse.

Which epoxy is the best for something like this?

Mine doesn't lean but I believe that post goes through the playfield with a nut on the backside to allow you to tighten it down.

I'll take a look but it's not loose.

Not sure I would use epoxy on this...and frankly I hate lock-tite one nuts as well.

Whatever you do, before you pull that drill out, make 100% sure thats what you want to do....drilling on a PF is something I don't ever want to do.

I would pull it out and inspect. The post may be bent.

Well if it's snug its bent. Easy to buy a new one. Like I said I think it's nutted so it should be an easy fix.
