My TZ started resetting on me here recently, mostly when I have a ball in the powerfield and balls in play (powerball multi-ball). So I decided to pull the board and give the BRs a test. I was a little shocked when I pulled the board and seen the traces. Is this OK, or is my board fried? I'm used to seeing smooth traces on the back.

The rectifiers all tested out at 400-500 on the diode test so, I'm thinking they are OK.

Thanks LTG. Do you mean by running jumpers, testing continuity to the capacitor from the BR? Sorry I'm not familiar with the term.

Ahh I see. I'll have to admit, I'm a tad nervous doing that. Isn't that what some refer to as board hacks? However, I do see where the benefit is.

According to the link you sent me, just by pulling the board and re-seating and tightening everything, this may end up fixing it anyway. At least I know the BR's are not the problem.

Thanks guys. I agree with not soldering parts on blindly, thats exactly why I tested them. I put the board back in and torqed/seated everything down good and tight so we'll see if I need to traverse down the list further.
