Bally, 1993Just put back together my new TZ after taking everything off the playfield, rebuilding clock and gumball, new flippers, rubber, bulbs, coil sleeves everywhere, etc., etc. Found a weird plastic piece in the backbox, white, about 1 inch long and 1/4" in diameter, with a longitudinal groove down the side, and the number 4 embossed on one end. Any ideas what this is? Game plays great without it, but I hate it when this happens!

It looks like the Nylon tip from a plunger. If you found it in the backbox it's probably from the knocker.

Seconded. Seen several plunger tips with the groove, how ever not the number on it. Maybe from an old plunger that broke, and was replaced and left in the back box?
