do you guys have any advice on what looks good on TZ for LED placement?

I decided to go with Pinball Life's 3 led bulb for underneath inserts, Also in the backbox behind "Twilight Zone". I used Ablaze single led's for GI. I'm interested to see what others have used on theirs and how different they look. Thanks in advance!

I just finished refurbing a TZ and usually don't like LEDs in GI because of the strobing effect it has (My eyes are sensitive to the "flicker" they give off).... that being said, I did do full LEDs for GI and inserts, as the blue hue of the ablaze bulbs looks great on the machine.

I did ablaze single concaves for the lower GI, and then the triples for the upper GI. The triple don't spread as well, but on TZ there isn't a lot to see back there anyways, so the triples look great lighting up the plastics above them. I use ablaze triples exclusively for inserts, as they really pop with the triples.

A full photo gallery is here if you want to see it in different phases- https://picasaweb.google.com/114677989241940608218/TwilightZone?authuser=0&feat=directlink

Cointaker Retros in the GI, Yellow, Red, Blue, Cool white. works for me

I finally discovered CG's secret to getting that awesome purple-blue color, though he probably didn't realize it was a secret. The Cointaker retro purples are a different color than the frosted purples.

The frosted purples and frosted pinks look very much alike. On the other hand, the retro purple almost looks like a blacklight. The color from the retro bulbs also seems to blend better. I'm still sticking with frosted LEDs for inserts, sleeved bulbs, and under the slingshot plastics (the retro ones hurt my eyes there). Switching to retro otherwise.

I only have retro purples in the two spot lights which I added. Mini pf and facing the airplane. The rest are just retro blue and frosted blue in the gi in the ramp area.
