In the original post op mentioned that he pulled connector j208 and the error went away. Therefore its on the pf somewhere.

Ground shorts can be a bear to trace down. Did you do the adjustment with the target in place, or did you remove the screws that mount the target, let the target hang and then adjust?
If you didnt do it in place look for a pinched wire.
