Hello all! I just got a TZ! Really like the machine. Problem I am having is when the ball launcher shoots the ball into the shooters lane it often hits the post and goes back into the starting spot. It will do this several times before it finally gets over to the right place to shoot it. The pin does have the LED's that light up as you shoot the ball to playfield. Is there a way to adjust this? Thanks for your help!!!!

Is the game set at the correct pitch? About 6.5 degrees. That may be an issue. Also is it levee from right to left? My TZ does the same thing once in a while with the white power ball.

This happens on a lot of TZ's. Fortunately, it's an easy fix. Just bend the ball guide that sits above the ball downward slightly with a pair of pliers. This will help to deflect the ball toward the plunger and away from the post rubber ...

Another fix along with this one is to take the rubber out of that middle post.
I actually did both of these-problem fixed.

Nice advice. I just learned something. This forum is awesome.

Cool! I already tried removing the rubber on the post now I will bend the metal piece a bit. I also think the LEDs mod is causing a bit of issue because it extends past the post a small amount. Actually think ball is hitting this and bouncing back into hole.

My issue is the ball diverter isn’t moving straight up so the auto launch can shoot smoothly. Ball hits it slightly causing slower launch and issues associated. Can this be adjusted using those two set screws? Away from my Pin now. Looking for a plan to fix it soon. Thanks! Woke up this 8 year old post!
