Have an awesome time guys! Wish I could've made it in. Pintastic is represented as Gabe is there. He's working helping out Lloyd and the MMr boys at the Planetary Pinball area. So be sure to say hi.

Quoted from labnip:Anyone remember my pic of this dude from last year ?
Think it's a foot longer this year
That's Crystal Gayle's son.
Quoted from labnip:so. there's been some power issues in the building. last night a bank of pins all lost power.
i found out today from several folks that many pins in different "zones" are resetting during game play due to low voltage coming into the pins and being provided to the boards.
a few folks texted me and said my pin was doing it a few times too.
so, found this cool little gadget for sale here that converts the unused 12volt signal down to 5volt signal that is reliable for the mpu board. no resetting at all now. very cool.
Those are awesome! Those are Rob Kahr's Daughter Boards he came out with. Really stabilizes the power to the machine. Super cheap too. Well worth the price. He has other great gear he carries too for sound boards and stuff. Great products for sure.
Check his website out here... http://kahr.us/
Quoted from labnip:From talking to him, it sounds he sold a ton of them this weekend.
Great product. I have zero power problems now!!!
I need to do this with a few other pins.
Yeah, not a lot of money for a whole lot of board safety. I have one on my Hurricane that never had any reset issues to begin with. But I put it in there for the extra protection. You can never have too much protection for your pins.
I met and had great talks with Rob both at Allentown and York. He's such a great guy and I hope he can make it out to Pintastic New England with all his great gear. I'm sure he'd do well there too.
All that said, as the show is nearing its end, I'd just like to sincerely thank you again for all the time you took in posting all the great pics to this thread brothah. You're AWESOME for doing this. Thanks.
Quoted from labnip:I think many of us have agreed there's a certain early bird maid that's about to get in some trouble
Who, Nellie? Whoaaaa! LOL
What you're really saying is you're enjoying your hotel stay as well?
Quoted from labnip:Check out the rubbers on the new nelly

Whoa! Nellie took a pounding! I mean, those rubbers really got worn out in her. Wait, that doesn't sound right...
Quoted from labnip:Check out the line for TOM
Everyone is feeling the love for your TOM. It's a gorgeous machine Lab. Love the topper and color DMD too.

The PinSound guys are great and we're hoping they can make it to Pintastic New England to show everyone their awesome sound boards. Gabe talked with them and said they are WAY cool. So hopefully they can make it in July.
Quoted from labnip:Just sold Theatre of Magic.
Show was over, had it half packed & then ....
Wow !!
Wow! Talk about your last minute sales. LOL
Congrats on the sale & congrats to the buyer as well. He scored one seriously nice TOM for sure.
Quoted from way2wyrd:TPF grand prize best of show.

And well deserved. You can tell a LOT of blood, sweat, tears and love went into that. Not to mention loads of cash and hundreds of hours of work. In a word...AMAZING!
Quoted from labnip:i bought their last sound board.
going to install it in TAF and upload a custom stereo sound set into it.
this is going to be crazy cool.
they had an Indiana Jones at the show that was out of this world with the custom stereo audio. you could feel the audio hitting you from left & right and center while playing. extremely immersive experience during game play. it just pulls you in even more into the playfield.
I know. I've heard rave reviews on their gear. That's why I hope they come to Pintastic. I think they'd sell a ton of them up here.
I'm thinking of buying one to add into my NASCAR so I can change the I can't drive 55 hack tune out of it and put in the original Hagar tune. ; )
Quoted from rccola777:What's the deal Labnip, no pictures from Karaoke? Then again, it's probably best.
Scary-oke!
