Lucky for you that that graffiti can be easily removed with a little polish......... .
You mean to say, that somebody just walks around tagging pins???? How can this be allowed?

Wth, an Asteroid Annie for 900$. Somebody scored !

#208 5 years ago

It is roached, nearly zero paint on the back glass and a lot of the playfield worn to wood.

#209 5 years ago

Yeah not that great of a deal.

#210 5 years ago

you said "roached"

#212 5 years ago

I think the auction went well. Many people very excited with their purchases.

Which ones? Like... ones from the Seminars?

No... sadly it seems that no "big news" has been dropped at TPF. If there was.. I have not heard about it yet.

Quoted from labnip:

so. there's been some power issues in the building. last night a bank of pins all lost power.
i found out today from several folks that many pins in different "zones" are resetting during game play due to low voltage coming into the pins and being provided to the boards.
a few folks texted me and said my pin was doing it a few times too.
so, found this cool little gadget for sale here that converts the unused 12volt signal down to 5volt signal that is reliable for the mpu board. no resetting at all now. very cool.

Those are awesome! Those are Rob Kahr's Daughter Boards he came out with. Really stabilizes the power to the machine. Super cheap too. Well worth the price. He has other great gear he carries too for sound boards and stuff. Great products for sure.

Check his website out here... http://kahr.us/

Any more custom pins than Goonies and Spinal Tap? If so, would love to see more. (Also would love to see more close-ups of Goonies and get some word on the P3 front).

From talking to him, it sounds like he sold a ton of them this weekend.
Great product. I have zero power problems now!!!
I need to do this with a few other pins.

Yeah, not a lot of money for a whole lot of board safety. I have one on my Hurricane that never had any reset issues to begin with. But I put it in there for the extra protection. You can never have too much protection for your pins.

I met and had great talks with Rob both at Allentown and York. He's such a great guy and I hope he can make it out to Pintastic New England with all his great gear. I'm sure he'd do well there too.

All that said, as the show is nearing its end, I'd just like to sincerely thank you again for all the time you took in posting all the great pics to this thread brothah. You're AWESOME for doing this. Thanks.

Question; is that AMH pin with yellow armor upgraded? It looks awesome, and I haven't seen any others pictured like that.

It's part of the pinball side mirrors booth - their custom job. shooter rod, yellow armor, topper, and mirrors (of course).

btw75... Thanks for the info. I think it make the game colors POP!

I wish I could have attended such a cool event in Texas. We have Pin-a-go-go coming in less than 2 months. Hopefully AMH & TH will be there as well.
