What: Battle at the Beach 2
When: This Sunday Oct 21, 12 PM start time.
Where: Playland not at the Beach in El Cerrito, CA
This event will award World Pinball Player Ranking points.
Entry is free with regular Playland Admission ($15). Multi-day cards are okay, but please no discount or free entry passes.
Registration and warmup starts at 10 AM, play begins no later than 12 PM. Registration closes at 1PM (in other words, you can show up as late as 1 PM and still play, but you won’t get warm-up time.)
All entrants will get some random STERN keyfobs as well as an official Flynn's Arcade token from Disneyland. Raffle prizes include Pinball 101, Drop Target #1 (first edition $5 value), and Pinball Magazine #1 ($25 value). I reserve the right to finish reading Pinball Magazine before I give it to you. hahahaha 
I'm making nachos and bringing pizza for this one, served around 1:30 PM. Come hungry!

What: Comedy and Pinball for a Cause
Local Comedian and pinball player Nina G is teaming up with the Pinball Outreach Project for a night of pinball and comedy. Pinball games expertly maintained by TJ Beyer. Current Lineup: MM, SS, TSPP, TZ, ACDC and WH20.
Where: Kimballs Carnival – 522 2nd Street, Oakland, CA
When: Wednesday, November 7, 2012
Come for pinball at 7:00. Comedy show starts at 8:00.
The Pinball Outreach Program’s mission is to improve the lives of hospitalized children during the downtime of treatment by bringing the game, history and excitement of pinball to Children’s Hospitals. Comedy and Pinball for a Cause will be holding a benefit for POP. The show is free but we will be passing around “the hat” to donate to this project. Also, all money made from the pinball play will be donated to POP.
