I've been spending some time today working on the Police Force I just picked up. I've got nearly everything electronic working, although I'm saving the diverter and playfield teardown for last.

One thing I noticed is that of all the bulbs in the game, there are only two I can't get working right. The two extra ball inserts in the left outlanes look to be about half brightness. I swapped the 555 holders around with no change. No more time to work on it today, was looking for suggestions on where to start looking tomorrow.

Does this sound like an IDC/header issue for just two bulbs? The connectors all look fine, although I know that doesn't mean anything. The bulbs are in one lamp PCB, could it be bad? Any ideas would be appreciated.

LOL! I assumed that two dim bulbs on one lamp board indicated a larger problem. Turns out someone put two of the wrong type bulbs in! Made me feel stupid for not checking that right away but at least I found it before wasting time trying to track down a non existent problem!
