    Quoted from gliebig:

Never heard of this Zen pinball? Where can I play it? Hopefully on my phone or kindle as that's the only two pieces of technology that I own.

I believe it’s mostly PC and console

Wow. deeproot announced what, like 10 games, plus their Houdini ripoff? And now they are becoming “less interested” in pinball.

    Quoted from bingopodcast:

It's unfortunate that the negatives on Heist are from people who haven't played the game - it's a seriously fun game.
    A couple notes:
    * Most modern machines from any manufacturer don't have interactivity in the bottom 2/3 and certainly not like the P3 with its dynamic array of targets on the screen.
    * Each module can play multiple games without having to swap playfields (that's one of the strengths of the platform)
    * The game shows progress to starting modes on the screen at all times unless you are in a mode. It also brings the mode progress to fore when you make a shot advancing same.
Hopefully everyone gets to try this game - it's amazing.

This is the same crap that happened with AP's Houdini. LOTS of pooping on it without having played it first. Groupthink. I don't have mine yet but I am looking forward to that day.

That Stranger Things story made me kind of sad. They pulled a LOT of cool things out of that game. Not sure it would have made it top 10 but they would definitely bring it up a level.

It is easily the greatest stache in pinball, possibly the greatest stache of all time

    That's like Gene Shalit territory!

    Quoted from TreyBo69:

I can't wait until the gossip and speculation as to why everything was fine last Friday, but oh shit cancel all current plans on Monday.

I was kind of wondering the same thing myself. If you're going to launch your whole business based on this stream... don't you have backup plan B, C, and Z in case technology (or pinball!) happens? The correct answer for a healthy, functioning company, is: OF COURSE.

    Quoted from bob_e:

Who is funding DeepRoot? ... 5 years and 0 games produced for sale ... The CFO must be going nuts

American taxpayers. Reported earlier in the thread, DR got 2 COVID stimulus checks between 2 companies (The pinball company and the “art studio” )

Wow, 5 years. How long did it take JJP to do WOZ?

Wait! My little ponies is actually happening?
    My kids will freak out.

    Oh no....
