Quoted from Mr68:

I can't find any pictures of Jpop's, Pussy Cat Bowling. (Wasn't that the name?)

Yep, yet another tangent to his MG and RAZA projects...

Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

I think this should be saved here for posterity. 508 days to get multiple games delivered.

Don't forget that was their worst case...how many times did they say it might be moved up at any point

Interesting, especially since deeproot promised any victims of JPOP's fiasco that if they didn't deliver the games by June 30, 2019, then they would pay back the RAZA/AIW deposits on Claimant's proof of claim. I wonder how that June date is looking now...

Quoted from benheck:

Was John serious about the "in house install" thing? Was it actually a $1000 option?

Lol, it was! From the original invoice:

11/1/2013 DIY Surcharge (or due on Delivery if earlier) $1,000
"DIY owners will be contacted with special instructions on the delivery and in-house building of their games."

Wait...you mean you aren't planning on coming

Quoted from Makakka:

would have paid for a tour ticket through JPops workshop like some zidware customers enjoyed with all swhizzle glitzy shine and bubble I can tell my grandchildren of

But would you have paid $8000 for this once-in-a-lifetime tour as that’s all most folks got for their money, plus maybe a t-shirt if you were one of the extremely lucky ones? I can think of a lot more memorable ways to blow that money

Quoted from EalaDubhSidhe:

Here's a question: what are the differences between RAZA now (other than 'it exists') and the game it was planned to be back when it was Ben Heck's Zombie Adventureland? I assume the original under John's watch would have been more ambitious...

Attached is an early RAZA playfield design, and an early whitewood photo courtesy of Pinball News I think. It's a similar layout at first glance but went through a lot of changes when you start to compare with the current one. I agree I think the early design was much more ambitious but then reality probably set in.

Don’t forget between Zidware and American Pinball he convinces some Canadian brethren to start a pinball company (Pintasia), with an unplayable Magic Girl mock-up. People forget deeproot is actually the 4th company trying to get this game made…
