Deeproot haven't got a Lyman or Elwin so wonder who is doing the rules?

So, according to website teaser coming soon?

In response to inquiries, we would like to expound upon our prior statement, "At a minimum, several RAZA prototypes will be available to play at the Houston Arcade Expo." Two early prototypes of Retro Atomic Zombie Adventureland (RAZA) will be at the Houston Arcade Expo on November 15-16, 2019. These prototypes will not have final art, design, or code. Our primary goal is to collect real-world data. There will be a minimal deeproot staff presence only to monitor data and performance of the machine components.We expect to complete engineering and launch early next year. A press release and media qualification form will be forthcoming. We also plan to release a teaser for our second title prior to the Houston Arcade Expo show. This teaser will showcase a level of cinematic animation never before seen with pinball, courtesy of deeproot Studios.

This is just the beginning.

Enough here to suggest Deeproot will steal significant market share from Stern and JJP.

I like the new speaker panel.

Only thing that looks bad is metal apron with cards on it.

Would prefer some kind of screen printed apron.

No one reads cards anymore and the just look rubbish - just like Stern yellow cards.

If it plays like a B/W game and is coded like a modern Stern, we have a winner.

DR confirmed game list is JPop titles he began years ago.
(Unless observations are nothing but positive...downvotes)

Investors are capable of making 'big boy' decisions and to do due diligence.

People saying they won't buy a JPOP game due to principles and then they go and play their Ghostbusters.......

Well, it has potential but the right ramp needs to be makeable.

Shame it has low scoring like JJP games.

Still liking the display but no other wow moments yet!

Surely the absolute basic thing in designing a game is that it shoots well?

Hobbit was ruined by a poorly designed playfield.

Keith is killing it with his designs.

It's an uphill struggle if a game doesn't shoot well from Day 1.

I am still excited about what Deeproot have up their sleeves, but it is disappointing to see rookie errors.

The ramp would be so much more fun if it had magnets on it and was metal like HS2.

I get what Deeproot are trying to do - evolution rather than revolution.

I hope they produce some great games as much as I like modern Stern's, when was the last great toy they did on a game?

I feel like I am being seduced by code, design and LCD and would also love to have some wow moments with the way balls interact with things on the playfield.

If Deeproot make great games, they will sell, it's that simple.

Looks more fun in that video.

And there are 4 battles to be coded so it could end up being a pretty cool game.

That said, that right ramp is a design flaw, pure and simple.

It's BS that 'it's meant to roll back'.

Fix that and this game could surprise a lot of people.

I guess there will always be those stamping their feet, having a little tanty, and refusing to play the game because of the "impossible" ramp shot (for some).

RE: DLC and "Pinball as service" well that's probably how he sold this to investors. Software as service/services is how MS and Apple broke the trillion $ market cap barrier. It's the future way corporations plan to bleed us dry.
Let's face it Pinheads did this to themselves by proving there's nothing too stupid they won't buy. $5k couch pieces, $800 flat plastic toppers, rugs...

Yes, unfortunately pinheads have given the impression they will buy anything.

That said, once any manufacturers start with DLC I am permanently out on new games.

Deeproot have seen that pinheads love to spend money.

Expensive plastic toppers - that will be a $1000 thank you.

Strip of led lights - bargain at $400 plus.

Pinbar is clever as its conditioning players to buy stuff in the game.

Once credit card details are stored, it's a small jump to the world of DLC.

THEME IS EVERYTHING. If they had showed BTTF in this futuristic cabinet with Delorean like brushed metal people would be vomiting money at them right now. But no. We get (as someone earlier said) John's fever dream tribute to Python Angelo.
If you look at the Zidware bankruptcy filings DR is their largest creditor at nearly half a million. Doesn't take a forensic analyst to see DR bought their debt obligations (game vouchers) in order to become the largest (and only secured) creditor so after bankruptcy DR gets everything.
So that's at minimum half a million spent for a bunch of purple vomit. That's more than Stern's upfront cost to get Star Wars!

Amazing really as BTTF in that cabinet, with the pinbar, would have been THE perfect theme for them to knock it out of the park.

Ah well, there's always good old Ned.
