Quoted from chooch:

How is that glass system supposed to work for those who have low ceilings? I've seen some gamerooms where there is barely any room for toppers and this seems to need a lot more clearance.[quoted image]

Yeah not great for low ceiling spaces, but actually pretty awesome for packing more games for a given floor space. No more planning for that additional glass pull out area. I could probably cram another one or two games if I didn't have to worry about pulling glass.

Ha, I don't think old war themes are gonna be big sellers with the under 70 crowd.

Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises might disagree

Guaranteed to rattle and vibrate apart well before the end of the decade.

And all of them seemed to have their odometer break right around 80k miles... My cousin had a GTI Rabbit and it was a blast.

I can see it now, buying nails from the pinbar, plus a DLC upgrade for New Testament content.

Quoted from Yelobird:

he seemed confident in his team and making this happen...

At least this one thing has been consistent for Deeproot, no doubt.

According to FB, Robert and I are exactly the same age. Same birth day, same year. That's... weird.

Sounds like the start of a bad identity theft story...check your credit for any multi million dollar loans taken out recently haha.

Quoted from pookycade:

This raises an interesting question. John failed with $1M (Zidware 1.0) , and quite possibly now with $10M (Zidware 2.0). Suppose there was Zidware 3.0 (I mean he’s gotten this far so we can’t say it’s impossible), and let’s say it’s now $100M. Is there any limit to the amount of dollars he could plow thru and still fail ? If you give a person enough money don’t they have to eventually put out a machine ? Or is John someone who with more money will asymptotically approach putting out a machine, but never quite actually achieve it ? Curious minds want to know.

Quoted from benheck:

It's often faster to build a new game than to fix a bad one.

This is probably a misrepresentation of Deeproot's priorities.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Naw...they just kept their fuckin' mouths shut, kept their focus, and produced THREE viable commercial/home pinball machines without stealing anybody's money in a surprisingly timely manner. Novel concept, ain't it?

All this and excellent manufacturing quality with zero (I think?) playfield issues.

Quoted from BC_Gambit:

I am sure having Haggis score a win with Fathom 2.0 (they will surely sell all their Mermaid editions super fast) should be another wakeup call for the DR crew. Maybe we are doing something wrong?

In case you haven't read; https://www.thisweekinpinball.com/haggis-pinball-announces-fathom-revisted-in-depth-overview-of-the-machine-editions-features-rules-plus-an-interview-with-haggis-pinball/

Such a stark contrast in approach between Haggis and DR.

Quoted from blueberryjohnson:

Also, where's our ul certification status update?? A soap opera this good can't just drop its #1 storyline

Yeah, this one is a head scratcher. A serious impediment to selling a single game just vanished? If it was done, there would be a victory lap in the update.

Do you overbuy the altoids for the mints or for the left over tins?

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Does this mean we'll have a chance to bid on that cardboard Nordman whitewood that was pictured leaning up against the wall with a bunch of garbage?
I think we can bring that game to production if we pool our resources!

Someone should enter it in the AP homebrew contest.
