Quoted from BorgDog:If your talking movie themed pins from the 80s, there can be only one.
Oh, knew I forgot a good one !
Great film, could really see this transitioning to pinball really nice !
HL (resized).jpgHey, I thought it would be cool to talk about 80's films wishlists.
5 games, plenty of top material to work with.
I tend agree with those who say get one over the line for starters.
DR want to go in balls deep, Good for them !
Looking forward to 5 days !
Go Hard deeproot !
BttF is the clear winner by a landslide
Hope DR got it and gonna make some serious waves.
Perhaps the most kickass pinball launch in history ?
I am so hanging out for a cool Space theme !
Not Star Wars
Wishing I was at Expo
perhaps this 80's gem, lol
have great respect for Deeproot working hard behind closed doors
Some epic reveal when the time is right will be amazing
Such a big call the expectations are so high !
TPF this weekend, so want to be there
I stumbled across this gold tonight
DR launch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am still very excited for DR's new games.
Sounds like DR will be the first pinball manufacturer to incorporate AR into a pin.
I have been waiting a long time to see this become a reality.
Power on Deeproot
Bring on more teasers please.
If we are talking RAZA
I would prefer to see it mostly complete say 90% +
Hardware, Art, Code Etc.
The talk of sending out games incomplete for customer feedback may be detrimental to DR.
The team at DR knows what the customer wants , so develop the product make it amazing, ultra competitively priced ensure QA is spot on and get the game out the door. Has to be win win for DR.
I cant wait. I am now keeping my expectations at a moderate level and looking forward to something new and exciting
Quoted from Amarillopinball:AR pinball came out in 1999.
Revenge From Mars
Star Wars Episode I
Sorry,
I do not consider a CRT wedged into the back of a pinball cabinet AR
AR is a lot Deeper than 99 Tech
Quoted from razorsedge:It is as augmented reality as it gets, seeing something else than what really exists in the physical space. Augmented. Reality. Simple or complicated. Same.
Acknowledging or not doesn't change the fact it is a decades old concept that many are only just discovering existed long ago.
I was looking at the now and hoping to see something more advanced.

Todays AR is a way different animal to pre 2000
Quoted from Fulltilt:I sure as hell hope so... actually counting on it. I'd like something resembling the game I signed up for.
I wouldn't mind them tossing in the glue gun...
[quoted image]
Over 2 years for this
Why would the flipper power be reduced ?
Where is Ben Heck ???
Sterns BOM will be wayyyy less than DR's
Unless DR is sourcing hardware from China as well ?
I guess local production lines will be DR's greatest challenge.
Hope DR can make it all work out with a reasonably priced, kick ass and quality product.
Quoted from pin2d:Working on a couple things for TWIP next week, one about COVID and one as a follow up to the Kaneda interview with deeproot.
For deeproot/Robert, how about an AMA reddit style? AMA = Ask Me (HIM) Anything
Post here or PM me your questions or email me at [email protected]
You guys do the interview! What could go wrong?
Get them to me by tomorrow at 7PM Eastern!
- Jeff
Hey Jeff,
I would be super happy for you to ask Robert to show some teaser pictures or drop ANY names of ANY future titles in the works please. Apart from Raza, MG and Alice of course. oh and that one that went sideways, old windows pin ?
Would also like to know what title/s Dennis was working on and how complete it/they got ?
Big ask here,,,,,,, Some..../ Any...... game specifications that show why Deeproot Pinball will have an edge over the existing competition ?
Workmanship, component quality, pricing and level/tier structure being most interesting.
.
The pin scene is soooo........... stale at the moment.
We could use some tongue wagging
Pinside always provides nice constructive feedback for the manufacturers Mostly........... Sometimes
Quoted from o-din:How do you ramp up when you've already announced you are working on, what was it, eleven games at once?
Next thing you know they will be closing all the Disney parks.
[quoted image]
Here is your mini Techno trip Mr Odin
Easily one of the magic pinball concepts !
I won't give up..............
Looking for the wild ride that will be Alice.
"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." ...
"It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then." ...
"We're all mad here." ...
Some wild art ideas to keep the dream alive.
Go well Team DR, hope you have a win !
