Quoted from Roostking:Pinball REVELATION!
Except that's New Testament.

Quoted from Mr68:Where do they go to bathroom?
Their revolutionary PinHole! (patent pending)
Quoted from woodworker:[quoted image]
There's a PinBar joke in there somewhere...
Quoted from benheck:Well, both ideas involve expensive boxes full of shit...
So CACA instead of RAZA.
/Cat Automated Crap Assistant?
Quoted from CrazyLevi:This should be a fine starting off point for anybody who needs to get the history and gist of this whole scam - from 2010 or so up to today:

Just spent three hours playing pinball and listening to this episode. Fantastic! I hope you do a follow up in the future like the hosts asked.
Quoted from jaytrem:Actually I think you deserve a special Twipitzer Prize.
Any prize for a story about Deeproot should be the Bullshitzer Prize.
Quoted from benheck:Joe Rogan as Charlie Emery, not selling his company to Robert for zero dollars.
Bill Hader as Terry DeZwarte, also not selling his company to Robert.
And Rainer Bock as you in Jpop flashbacks:
Opera Snapshot_2021-11-24_162046_www.bing.com (resized).pngQuoted from mrgone:Every piece of the abominations that were created in that place need to be burned and all records of their existence need to be erased from history.
As well, ALL traces of everything snd anything zidware need to be rounded up, burnt, the ashes welded into lead boxes and dropped into the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean.
All traces of jpop after his time at Bally Williams needs to be erased from history.
Let’s bury these cancers on pinball once and for all.
To quote our colleague from Nova Scotia: So you're saying there's a chance?
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:Since Bobby loves tms, maybe he can acronym this one just to save everyone a lot of time.
OTAOFIIMPASIUTFAOTUCARDTATQ.
Really rolls off the tongue.
Quoted from TreyBo69:You'd die if this was a drinking game at this point
If Bobby was providing actual fifths he could start a Deeproot Liquor Store.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:So Mueller WAS pregnant!
And all this time I thought it was a beach ball under his tight polo shirts.
It's his innovative new PinBelly™.
I've got a few decades of sound engineering (live sound, recording, mastering, etc) and would love to give the next hearing a go on my Sonar machine. Rather than sift through pages of new comments, I'll just inquire: when is the next scheduled hearing, and how do I go about listening in?
Quoted from toyotaboy:those are choices if you want to be completely independent and make everything in-house. Unfortunately since the building didn't allow manufacturing, all that equipment would have to be moved to a building that DID allow such things to be hooked up.
This just my be my favorite part of this whole criminal enterprise. Seems almost like Blubbah have given up entirely on even the ARTIFICE of a mfg concern. We can only hope his guilty conscience (if he has one) was raring this entire time, knowing the house of cards was due for a mighty quake.
Quoted from yancy:Never miss the chance to say I was the only person who successfully bought a game from Zidware. Sure, it was a $200 bagatelle, but it was complete & playable.
On a completely unrelated note (hah), King Crimson's "Indoor Games" just might be the only song in human history to have the word "bagatelle" in the lyrics.
Quoted from Mr68:If history repeats, the auctioneer will stiff him on the deal.
"It's just a hobby. I have money. HAHAHA LOLOL HAHAHA"
With all this talk of theater seats it's unfortunate there isn't a popcorn machine in the auction. It'd be perfect to sit back and watch this ever-unfolding shit show of a movie. Hell if it weren't true no one would believe it.
Quoted from Mbecker:PSA: Not sure if anyones interested or has heard, but if you are looking to cobble together games from parts and connect with others who got RAZA part lots from the auction there’s a dude I know of that I think wants to help
Just not with Bible Adventures, it's too complex. We'll have to look elsewhere.
Quoted from DudeRegular:Lets keep this going!
Black Hole 2: Deeproot's Quest for Relevance
(With a nod to Soundgarden and Deeproot's insolvency) Black Hole Funds
Quoted from goingincirclez:Fed by lies
Undisclosed
And designs that no one knows
Deeproot plays
Boasts five days
And a RAZA-led disgrace
Innovate
Jpop stench
With an octocoupled bench
Pinbar hangs
The whole team
With no magic left to spend
Black hole funds
Take the plunge
And flip them down the drain
Deeproot funds
Take the plunge
Flip the plunge
Quoted from CrazyLevi:We need an investigative journalism award here to encourage more of this quality work. Sorry if a Pulitzer for pinball.
The Johnson Award.
Or the Golden Blueberry ?
The Golden Johnson.
Quoted from slghokie:I keep watching that video of the pull out rotating playfield and just laugh and laugh. It sums up the innovative failure that was deeproot
"innovative failure" is a perfect summation of the entire Deeproot story.
Quoted from gdonovan:MOST forklifts are plenty hefty, there are some small "rough terrain" models that are not bad but usually you have to add water ballast to keep them from going over near their limits.
Gary "certified forklift operator" Donovan. [quoted image]
The forklift in question was a Hyster with an 8,000 lb lift capacity; the gross weight of the forklift with no load was over 12,000 pounds, and on solid tires. Loaded or unloaded that thing would have chewed up the floors, if @blueberryjohnson's explanation of the flooring in the podcast was any indication.
Seems like every few months a random name pops up declaring this thread dead, the horse dead, Deeproot dead. I always wonder the same thing: just how much money did THEY lose to Blobert?
Quoted from Roostking:I'm not sure why Chris Turner isn't contacting you!
Surely he is watching this thread! C'mon Chris, where you at!
Maybe he doesn't drink.
Quoted from ForceFlow:I'm curious if the line items for "online research" in the billable hours document included someone reading this thread.
"Now what exactly is this 7 hours of 'reading LeonSpinkx's nonsensical troll posts on PINSIDE' about?"
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:Got any stats on this prospect?
[quoted image]
Is it always spelled "ROBRT" or is that a typo?
Quoted from Mr68:Charles Ponzi certainly made a name for himself. But why do people overlook the Newman - Kramer bottle deposit scheme of 1996.
Now that was a caper.
[quoted image]
Funny aside about that episode. The actress who played the farmer's daughter called him "Norman" at the end. She didn't know the show and either misread or misremembered the script. However, she did it so well they kept that take.
Quoted from Mr68:Bah ha ha ha !
I know, the original sign looks like an 8 year old did it.
An Octo-sign.
Quoted from ZNET:Furnishing legal advice to financial outfits is a risky undertaking. Legal malpractice insurance carriers charge high premiums to law firms which provide these services.
Someone warn @benheck! /s
