I havn't checked in to this thread since page 68. Anyone excited or have information on Barry Oursler? I love his games and am glad he is back into pinball after a while off. I would say most of us have owned one of his games at some point?

Quoted from PinballManiac40:Did Barry say if it was a licensed or unlicensed theme? I am looking forward to it as well.
I don't really care if its licensed or not, too many people see that as being the most important. The 2 games I have by Barry are not licensed and I love them. Thats why I'm excited about this company and the titles. They aren't hiding behind a license to cover up a bad game like you know who.
I have been watching these abandoned buildings and bankrupt videos on youtube this week. American Dream mall, WOW air. I'm pretty sure thats whats going on here, same setbacks, delays, and excuses. I am surprised to see this thread live on as long as it has with nothing to show for it?
The problem I have seen with all business start ups is that the ones who plan big and larger than life right out of the gate never work out. Mainly because it takes them too long to do it and by that time they are 4 years behind the competition. They also like to blow money on frivolous things that are PR than the actual product development. In this case glitzy paid air travel, hotels, vip packages to the reveal. This place shows all the signs of bankruptcy. Have to start slow and small like CGC or AP.
Quoted from jawjaw:Weren't they talking about a whole new manufacturing process? I remember something about a different kind of playfield and other innovations. Maybe covid changed all that to where it was either too expensive now or not realistic. If they were indeed doing something innovative or new, they probably wouldn't want to announce it until it was ready for production.
Oh yeah, a whole new way of pinball manufacturing that will revalutionize the world. Stern will be 2nd in the marketplace and the release of 13 pinball games at once. Amazing what they are able to accomplish! What ever groundbreaking innovation announced was 3 years ago. We now have these things called electric cars since then.
Am I the only person who thinks this reminds me of the Tesla Cyber truck and its unveiling?
The stainless steel all over that looks like its trying too hard to be different?
Funny getting people excited over dozens of future titles within the next year when they havn't even made the first.
Even if they produce the game I wouldn't touch it. Imagine trying to get parts for it or customer service!
Red Flags for me was releasing to everyone all the titles of your games for the next 3 years. Who does that?
The good thing is I'll be playing RAZA for free digitally on my VP pin in about 2 years. Long before anyone hopes to recieve the game.
Quoted from Palmer:The bad thing is it’s virtual pinball.
In 4K with nudge and animated backglass. Haven't heard anyone complain yet who plays in my league, they all left satisfied. I won't be surprised if you buy one in the next 5 years.
Quoted from Palmer:They’re just being nice. I’d take that 5 year bet. If I want to play video games, I’ll fire up my Xbox.
Oh yeah, real or digital? Look closely at the picture and zoom in. You can't tell the difference. Even has the silk screen dots on the graphics. Its actually better than this without down sizing and taking a pixel photo causing a wavy pattern.
