Hmn.. I thought Deeproot would have some sick artwork in the pipes.

Hopefully they don't have the Tech down and have bad Art direction

Not sure what We are even talking about at this Point.

RAZA ? Any updates on that.

Any updates on Deep Root? I had considered applying for a software developer job over ther a few months back. Probably missed the train on that one.

Game looks great in my opinion. Has the feel that Williams and Bally games had back in the day.

Considering game is a prototype I think it is pretty solid. My hopes is that we can give them support and
praise and not kill the game out of the gate with Pinside hate.

Let's see think DeepRoot has an advantage of having Texas location. Lower Taxes and lower cost.

Swap-able playfields - would be totally rad. That would make production cost less and shipping savings. Especially if
the had the cabinet design to end all cabinets. Sturdy but lite and a very easy playfield swap
that someone could do on location with a thumb drive / sd card or wifi for code.

I would love to see a company push the playfield envelope a bit more.

Give users a chance to home grow more elaborate toys with a SDK kit.

This just sucks.. Glad I didn't go after the Developer position over at DeepRoot I'd be so screwed

Really sucks for everyone who worked at Deeproot and invested.

How many people on pinside can say " I told you so ". Think there are more than a handful
of skeptics that saw this coming.

Quoted from Darscot:

I do not think they ever actually intended on getting the pin out. This just seems like a way to funnel the money out till the well ran dry. Has anyone been arrested or are they just on their way to an island somewhere with a pile of money?

I'm sure that the people working on the game had every intention to get it out there. They probably just didn't know about all of the other things going on behind the scenes.

Sheesh - imagine working at a revolutionary pinball company. Getting sold on an idea to add another milestone to your career, start a career or rise like a phoenix from the ashes. You sign up and take a slightly lower paycheck than you are accustomed to. Things are going pretty good until that meeting when someone flips on the prototype and smoke starts to roll out into the air. Someone says don't worry... this is the most revolutionary game in the market space right now. We are going to sell the hell out of these.. Looks like we sold about 100 of them folks. Keep up the good work, got crack a few eggs to make an omelet... something doesn't seem right as no one is making an omelet... pinball is hard. Good thing that Covid stimulus money starts rolling in right... We got this... We got this.. Couple lawyers come into an office space and managers say "keep your traps shut". Looks like something fishy is going on.. Couple folks jump ship. Some folks who ordered games get notices that their are some issues..... Pinside possee jumps in and gets to work.... and SEC investigation comes to light.. That company turns out to be a poorly construed cover up... What now?

The virtual pinball I suppose is the only way to save RAZA and Jpops games.

Think Deeproot may of done better releasing Virtual Pinball games.Though I wonder if Pinball was ever truly the real focus of RM endeavor. Not even sure the Life Insurance scheme was even a worthy investment unless there was some real differentiating angle to work . Honestly I don't know what drove RM into Pinball and why he picked Jpop knowing that he'd lost his street cred.

Isn't it time to shut this thread down and return it to the shareholders?

What else is there to talk about? Haven't read much tech tips or this and that here lately. Just DeepToot...
