Quoted from Chalkey:

I don't know but I like his style. You've been consistently thread shitting for about 5 pages. Maybe sit out from pinside a few days.

So it was you with the dupe account? LOL

Kim and I have squabbles and then its over. Sometimes under the influence. EDIT: Nvm, not over, so sad and my feelings are really hurt

Thanks but no thanks on the advice

#3202 4 years ago

My level of shitsgiving doesnt go any farther than wishing you would stop posting off topic horseshit. If autocomplete wasnt on I wouldn't remember the password for my own account. Pinside needs a purge.

Ps also drunk.

Shitsgiving is definitely my least favorite holiday, the food traditions suck.

Nope, I'm in the same boat. Every time I scroll down the list it looks like "Deep Throat Pinball"

I'm pretty sure the Deeproot logo is modeled after Linda Lovelace.

What are you 2 yrs old?

Robert isn’t going to appreciate that

Stick to your private going nowhere litigation group

One of the dumbest waste of time and money efforts ever!

Had we lost $300k each big boy then sure but what a F ing waste

I don't think there is a lot to loose in this case. Could be wrong. No disclosure.

You aren’t in the lawsuit are you Fulltilt?

Hopefully you took the credit?

Delt, it’s a cardboard box of Yeti artwork

That had no chance of actually working like MG

Ok I thought it was some proto that was being converted. Would have been so sick.

The credit is still nothing unless something gets made. Robert has not paid Cointaker like he promised, so I'm pesimistic on the entire thing.

Is it a printable credit or do you get a certificate in the mail?

I don’t blame you Hank

Bobby/Tommy Boy needs to deliver after spending a shit load of OPM $$$

And if you bought into that load of crap that Kimmy was selling then it was a big mistake

Big mouth BS means nothing. Bobby or Kimmy. And if pins don’t start rolling off the line soon then you will be correct in your pessimism

-1
#3221 4 years ago

Just a reminder

Kimmy called us “losers” Hank

He got his MG, made his “profit” off of you and me Hank and Fulltilt

Whatever. He told me he was a “winner” and we were the losers?

Hmmmm. I wonder if Mr transparency wants to post the PM?

Who cares, life is too short to worry about that garbage

Chump change for chumps

Regardless, a “credit” is worth 1000x more than some BS lawsuit

#3222 4 years ago

And for the record

There is ZERO chance that Bobby is going to deliver on his contract by the end of June

Nope.. waitin’ On the credit. (:

“So you say there is a chance”. LOL

You are in the right boat brother

If you spend $20 plus million and can’t get a game out then it still sucks but you weren’t part of the “investor group” that helped make it happen and lost all that $$$

June 30 is around the corner

This is pinball. Lies and broken promises

We all have opinions and I'm good with everyone's. We can all disagree and that's okay if it poses a good point, or educates others.

To my best knowledge none of us can predict the future, but my educated guess is anything with Jon's name on it will fail.

Sarcasm missed

#3229 4 years ago

There are a lot of people like me who would work in pinball if it wasn’t for a few things like the lousy hours, the lousy pay, and the complete lack of passion for pinball. Wait, maybe it was just those first two things...

#3230 4 years ago
Quoted from Brijam:

Come on. It's vastly more likely that someone with industry experience knows what they're talking about than someone who doesn't have industry experience. Honestly, would you take someone's advice about clearcoating a playfield if they hadn't done it before? Even if they might be right?

There are no rules in art, regardless of who you work for. Commercial art is controlled by consumer preference, and I trust people outside of the industry more than you (especially the way you're presenting it) as they are a good measure of average aesthetic appeal. If people don't mind the mix of 2d/3d, I say good job Deeproot!

#3232 4 years ago

So any new news on when some pins are gonna show up? Maybe they’ll wait till Pinburg to reveal

Looks like DR is planning on "delivery" starting by June 30.

I just received the "Goodwill Agreement".

"By the delivery date, DR will offer at least three different titles....."

It looks like the standard pricing on these games is going to be $5k

Very nice!

And we will have the ability to tour the factory to play and select games.

I'm completely out of the loop. What is the "Goodwill Agreement" and what are you getting from DR? I assume the Goodwill Agreement has something to do with RAZA/MG/AIW/JPop fiasco?

If that is all true it will be good for all of us crazy pinball people.

Some people like Kim and his group opted for litigation.

Others took the DR offer to get fully reimbursed via a DR pinball machine for whatever deposit monies were put down on Jpop games.

I had a claim/credit of $4250 from RAZA/AIW that goes towards the purchase of a DR game.

I received an email reminder to finalize the "Goodwill Agreement" that was sent out a while back by May 31st.

The agreement has the terms i mentioned above. Thus, to meet the contractual obligations delivery is set to be done by June 30th.

We shall see Rob

Wtf is not serious about it? Whether DR will deliver?

#3239 4 years ago

This is encouraging news... I'm in (was) on RAZA at $4750, and signed the agreement from DR as well. Hope DR can come thru.

I’ll be shocked if DR announces a ready to ship pin by June 30. That’s what I was referring to.

#3242 4 years ago

Like when they said they’d ship more pins than all other manufacturers combined in 2019? :p

#3243 4 years ago

iceman44 if you just received an email reminder from deeproot I would say that is very encouraging news.

#3244 4 years ago
Quoted from f3honda4me:

Tough but still feasible. All they have to do is ship 1 unit each of 12 different titles.
Robert says that would put a dent in the backlog of whitewoods but not deplete it.

#3245 4 years ago

i wish deeproot luck. i hope they deliver a more packed playfield than what stern does currently for $5k

#3246 4 years ago

Maybe DR is so quiet because it truly wants to help the customers from the past and clean up the mess that was left behind . Then start over again clean with a head of steam.

This would be a refreshing game plan!

#3247 4 years ago

Is a Deeproot group hug in order? Hopefully y’all can get your dues and we can move on to some more good ol pinball machines coming out

The whole industry has shipped more than 12 pins. :p The way they worded it was both more unique pins AND more total pins. I just don’t think they can reach that. That’s a tough ask for any manufacturer much less a startup.

Nice ad hominem. I’m sorry I don’t have enough “pinside street cred” to have an opinion.
