Bobby will never spend a single night in jail.

He’s a fucking Boeing exec.

Give it up gang. He’s rich, white, and has a platinum card. And he didn’t kill anybody, just stole millions of dollars. Dude is gonna skate!!!

Sadly, It's true. These guys rarely get the comeuppance they deserve and the bigger the crime the better the odds are that they'll skate. I've yet to see one banker go to prison or even be charged for the 07/08 crash.

I didn't know that criminal charges were pending.
Are you sure that's not a civil trial?

It’s definitely just a civil trial.

Any discovery from a civil trial can be used in the criminal trial FYI.

This wasnt a market crash, this was a targeted scam that swindled millions from old people. And a little from dumb people too boot.

I bet he does get some jail time, despite being whatever the thing is Crazy Levi said.

Cargument. If he stole $60,000,000 in Ferraris, would he go to jail?

I bet he does jail time!

I dunno. Fellow crazy-eye Elizabeth Holmes got 11 years. Unlike her Robert can't squirt out babies and say that's an excuse to avoid prison. (seriously that's her latest ploy)

That market crash wasn't a scam? Let me explain something to you. The market crash of 07/08 was in fact a scam, a very big one. Maybe the biggest one ever? It was called Predatory lending and was targeted at the poor and the undereducated. That scam costs millions of people everything they had, put them on the streets and then took the rest of the economy down with it. And it All was done so that bankers could line their pockets, knowing full well that most of those loans they brokered could never be paid back. After the loan failed they'd repo the house, collect on the insurance they have backing said loans when they failed, (which they did) and then ride off into the sunset on their yacht. IDK, but it sounds like a scam to me.

So, while I don't believe Robert will suffer any consequences from his scam, I do hope that I'm wrong and that he pays dearly.

Ok. Well we cant go down that hole here, but fed regs back then said you must give a loan to anyone who can breathe and fog a mirror.

Supposedly Robert is no longer employed at Boeing. Apparently he’s no longer reachable on their internal messaging system. Hard to verify though.

Been waiting in the breadline for about a month it seems. Hope it's moldy when he eats it.

Jaime Esparza is the new US Attorney in this district, approved in Dec. He already has called in a Special Asst US Attorney from Washington to help prosecute. My money is on Jaime and Special Asst US Attorney Divine. Quite possible that Mr Divine has never lost a case for the DOJ. The conviction rate for the DOJ is usually around 96 to 98%. And that's with "regular" asst US attorneys. I wouldn't want to mess with one that's called "Special".

I'm glad to read that and I believe it about the prosecution attorneys. But after watching the Netflix series on Bernie Madoff, its difficult to have much confidence in the SEC enforcement end of it.
Although I would imagine/hope that inspection procedures have changed since then.

Love ya, Levi, but I don't agree here. This guy, despite his crazy bluster, will plea and serve some time in prison. I would say if he had political connections he might get away with it like Jon Corzine did. But Robert had no accountant managing 60 million dollars, commingling funds all over the place, no friends in high places, easiest slam dunk. If it was an iffy case with no evidence, he might skate but its so overwhelming. District Attorneys love these cases. I look forward to justice to everyone who lost money.

Third billing request from trustee lawyers. This one for $324k. Would bring the total awarded to $810k. Long doc. I've not yet read there. Previous ones shed a handful of interesting details regarding what they've been doing and finding.

Why would anyone hire someone with such a public record of dishonesty and unethical behavior? There’s not ONE better person for that gig?

The thing of it is, most HR interview questions are along the lines of, Have you ever been convicted of a crime? Or, Have you ever been arrested for a crime?

To both of those questions, even today, Robert could honestly say, no.

Right now, they could even ask, Do you have any pending criminal charges? To which he again could honestly say, no.

Last I heard, Robert has not done his, jacket over head, perp walk yet.

And because Robert is *still* a lawyer, his application got tossed in the advance box, and HR makes it on time for Happy Hour.

Recruiter : Have you ever been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor? That's robbery, rape, car theft, that sort of thing.

John Winger : Convicted? No.

Russell Ziskey : Never convicted.

RM : Not yet, anyway.

I think In corporate America, if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying. Like, 75 percent of all top level executives are probably convicted or under investigation for something financially, And hey, it’s not like he killed anybody.

Plus, he’s almost Certainly got some
Cronies over there already who vouched for him. And a google search showing he allegedly stole $60 million from old ladies probably wins you points In some boardrooms for the sheer showing of initiative.

Yeah it’s all pretty gross but that’s how it has to work or our democracy will crumble, or something.

I’m sure Robert got a massive bonus this year!

Wouldn’t matter if he got a bonus or how much he’s making. It’s a safe bet most of his money is going towards multiple lawyers and hefty child support and alimony payments. And I’d hazard a guess the SEC, and the bankruptcy trustee have an eye on his finances as well.

what gave it away?

All of the above?

Am I missing a piece of info here - how does this relate to the Deeproot fiasco?

He bought proyptypes, some, not all whitewoods, IP rights, and whatever assets he could find. He said most were cloud uploaded, weren't paid for, so *poof*

He seems to intend to confer with some other people who have assets, and release a non commercial free license to anyone for the homebrew community.

Also, he is working on his own project.

JPOP and Richard are not involved, really only maybe some people he met/worked with directly.

Oh I see..... So buyer beware. But unfortunately FOMO and people with more money than sense make for a bad combination. IE - Paying for machines to a new company with no guarantee of getting them.
