Though I wasn't involved in the copywriting, I wouldn't disagree with your suggestion of word choice casting reputational aspersions (perhaps unintentionally).
For whatever reason, it seems a common denominator with good old blueberry. I recall Zach including "infamous" in my introduction for podcast #1.
Though none of this is of particular concern, it is mildly perplexing. Assumed I was one of the good guys when it came to the deeproot tornado clusterfuck.
Infamous is an adjective that is derived from the Latin prefix in- which means not, opposite of, and the Latin word famosus, which means renowned, celebrated. Therefore infamous would imply a person is not famous, but locally known, perhaps. Sounds kind of like blueberry.
Notorious means publicly known, usually unfavorably, for some sort of bad quality. I just don’t think blueberry is known well enough for all of his bad qualities, so infamous he shall be until he can build a larger fan base and get the word out Oh yeah, his bad qualities are on top of bad behavior, I’ll bet.
The story of Zitware almost seems like an Aesop's fable. A tale of middle aged men throwing endless cash into a pit, desperately trying to recapture their youth. And the ironic twist is in the end all they have to show for it is an empty wallet and more years of life wasted.

You are one of the good guys, I just found the word funny. Haven't heard the word Gadfly snice my grandmother used it decades ago. I think she had a different meaning for it back then... And the dictionary explanation of the word doesn't apply to you at all.
Could the word gadfly be making a comeback? This geezer wants to know.

yea that's the video where he talks about how he measured wrong, and "oh well, just have to get some new metal parts fabbed up". Maybe he should measure 12 times and cut once.
