Well I got my passport ready to go. I have not been to Texas since Covid started. If something is being planned with what Chris Turner bought along with other winners. The likely best guess you would think it will remain Texas based, & likely a number of private investors. Jpop who knows what future plans he has, maybe something different in the entertainment biz.

Maybe he doesn't drink.

I want to say he is Mormon, so probably not.

I’d love to split a case with John (or a keg). I think he might be a bit too optimistic, but that also makes him seem like a fun drinking buddy

ROTFL - what could John possibly do in the entertainment biz? He has no talent, zero personality, and can’t meet deadlines. He has clear public records of multiple scams & failures. Who would hire him & for what purpose? Maybe he made enough from his stolen old lady Derp Poop paychecks to retire.

People thought & continue to think Jpop has no future. He has proven twice already that companies are willing to gamble on trying to focus & manage him. So time will quickly tell this year if he stays with pinball or moves into other employment. With all the deeproot pinball stuff being auctioned off, & lack of where all the IT stuff went. Throw out all the stupid stuff, & someone could move on with modern pinball. No one is saying where Jpop now is living which would give a hint of what he maybe up to. For all we know he might be bunkered working on his games or dreams with someone to keep him focused. Kind of like a life coach or guard to keep him wondering around for coffee.

Plot twist: greatwich gets hired to watch Jpop and they can't be found after the nearby brewery releases a coffee stout.

There’s too much info about his failures, his scams, his lack of remorse, his lack of talent. No one would be fooled again. The internet is forever. He only brings net negatives to any workplace.

The only person stumping for him is a bankrupt alcoholic.

Now comes a new 84-page court document filed on behalf of the lawyers working for the bankruptcy trustee looking to get paid. Deeproot could learn a thing or two about record keeping from these folks.

84 pages that contain a good number of interesting news and notes. Enjoy.

I’m about to be sequestered as a juror in a criminal case. Too bad it’s not for Bobby Mueller

In case it's for an unjust law, read up about Jury Nullification first.

#30919 1 year ago

Haha oh man. $228K to conduct the proceedings (so far). How much have they raised from the sale of assets? Like $1.6M?

The creditors are not going to see any money at this rate. No wonder that everything was conducted as a fire sale! One of the lawyers charges $500/hr.

Thankfully they ended up canceling/postponing the trial. Just wish they did it before the rollercoaster ride of showing up this morning and being told “hey we need you to go pack for 2-3 weeks, and come back this afternoon”. Jury duty served. I’m free for 10 years

So has anyone got any progress on there RAZA home brews with the auction bits and pieces your willing to share some insite on what your up to??

Land records on CCW Braun Heights/Carwash:

https://bexar.tx.publicsearch.us/results?department=RP&recordedDateRange=17530101%2C20220512&searchOcrText=false&searchType=quickSearch&searchValue=CCW%20braun

pasted_image (resized).pngpasted_image (resized).png

I understand this to mean that deeproot loaned $3.35M to CCW Braun Heights to create a carwash at 10670 Bandera Road. The money was to be repaid within 5 years of opening of the carwash. The car wash opened around 3 years ago (going by google reviews - some of which go back 3 years).

Tax assessor records:
1. https://bexar.trueautomation.com/clientdb/SearchResults.aspx?cid=110
2. https://bexar.trueautomation.com/clientdb/Property.aspx?cid=110&prop_id=1304613
3. https://bexar.trueautomation.com/clientdb/Property.aspx?cid=110&prop_id=1287169

It's hard to understand who the parties involved are. It looks like a "HOWARD C CONRAD" owns the land (3 parcels together, including the garden center) and is the owner of CCW Braun Heights. Then there is a SUSAN and CLIF CONRAD who appear to be older (appear to be related - might be parents?) and put in the initial money for the carwash (before deeproot stepped in).

I don't see anything strange going on here, except -- of course - the $3.35M due back to deeproot within the next 2 years.

Not much progress yet. One of the people came by my place sunday to get some pictures of the raza playfield and cabinet I got. He's doing all the heavy lifting on organizing everything and cataloging all the stuff we both got.

I don't expect there to be any quick progress anytime soon.

I haven't googled the carwash folks (and don't plan to). As explained to me, the interestingconnection between them and Robert is likely to be where they met.

How much does it cost to start a car wash? What if this was a real life Nigerian Prince scam but done in a way for Bobby to park F You levels of cash. Do the time, collect cash after getting out. No saying it would work, but in the mind of the most brilliant man in pinball who knows.

Not-Bobby: I need a loan to start a car wash
Bobby: How much?
Not-Bobby: 500k
Bobby: How about 3.2 million? You lay interest on the 500k you need and the rest is just there if you need it. Pay it all back in 5 years and call it good.

Is this the step Kulek missed? Man I can’t wait for the docudrama on this.

>How much does it cost to start a car wash?

Granted I am not familiar with San Antonio real estate in particular, but having done a lot of commercial land development in Texas and a carwash somewhere else...I don't think that's an unreasonable amount to acquire land along a highly trafficked road, design/permit/build a carwash, and have some extra cash on hand to get by the first few months until business picks up to a profitable level.

I can totally see that too. Just putting pen to paper on the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that number.

And after they told everyone UL certification was the holdup they printed the UL logo and slapped it on the machine even though it didn't meet specifications?

Looking at the dates on the rush job as 9/22/20, the deepsix visited that weekend before and deeproot postponed the launch on 9/21/20

So what the fuck was the rush for? Unless they did the invoice after the print because they were slapping a cabinet together that quickly for the deep six

it also says is past due on 9/22/2020, which means it was probably ordered a month before (typically vendors do monthly reminders when invoices are unpaid), so they REALLY paid for rush for nothing, unless of course Robert was assuming based on JPOP's bumbling of making parts wrong that they wanted to make sure they had time to adjust artwork if things didn't line up.

Well the original invoice date also says 9/22/20. I'm sure they had some sort of account and business relationship since art was such a major concern over there. That's why I wouldn't be shocked if like JPop ordered it over the phone and they printed it before they had time to write up the receipt of work.

edit: also the invoice mentions deeproot is a cash customer. So they probably paid in cash the day it was dropped off. Or it's yet another vendor Robert would push to the limit and would only deal with cash...

A source indicated to me lines of credit were something deeproot didn't have with (most) companies because, to get them, a vendor would do a bit of due diligence and quickly discover business with this company was not a good idea. Hence putting everything on credit cards.

Also, and I don't think I mentioned this on the podcast, apparently deeproot (allegedly) operated without the proper paperwork/certificate most businesses have regarding—and this is fuzzy for me so my description is probably off but I'll provide enough info for someone here to quickly say what I'm talking about and I can confirm—tax payments required or not required when purchasing things from vendors for incorporation into new product (in this case, pinball machines) commercially sold. I think it was related to "reselling." As I recall, this stuff is required in most states but maybe not Texas. Deeproot didn't actually have it but acted like it did.

OK, who can tell me the term for the thing I'm trying to describe above so I can confirm that they're right?

Quoted from blueberryjohnson:

I think what you might be describing is a resale certificate.

It allows businesses to buy certain items/supplies/materials without being charged state sales tax when the intent is to resell the items (or manufactured items).

Thanks, @forceflow. That's exactly what it is.

So yeah. I've been told deeproot didn't have a resale certificate.

Interesting that you brought the UL cert up...has anyone seen that listed anywhere in all the paperwork? Wonder if any testing even occurred?

Quoted from mbwalker:

It did. If you listen to my deeproot-focused Pinball Show episode, you can hear some stories about it. Included in those is that some of the UL steps may not have moved forward because deeproot (allegedly) owed the testing company $10k+. Also, and I can't remember if I shared this on that podcast or elsewhere, but current thinking is the fanciest RAZA prototype (missing from the offices and auction) was or still is at the testing facility (since deeproot didn't pay them to finish the work and deeproot subsequently went bottom up).

Dear bankruptcy trustee + lawyers: If you read this thread (and I genuinely think you really should), consider that a tip of a place to look for more deep assets.

#30946 1 year ago

I wonder if these 2020 documents labeled Zidware (a by that time bankrupt company alleged to have transferred intellectual property and assets in potentially illicit ways) could provide any benefit to the parties embroiled in that ongoing litigation?

#30947 1 year ago
Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Someone needs to complete the masterpiece.

You’re not kidding, deeproot left money on the table abandoning this great design just because of some SEC violations. Whomever scoops up the parts and stitches them together should also try to get software from turner. This is too rich a target to be left unguarded. It is the MOTHERLOAD of motherloads. If this were a movie, international burglars of the arts would be plotting how to make this happen. If only greatwich was available to help. Oh well, for now this remains an unpicked gold mine.

Go back and look at the request for $250k and how many professional hours were expended to investigate rm? It comes from many sources and round to a whole number. What have you got?
