Quoted from SirScott:I also find it interesting (humorous?) that JPop filed a defamation suit against the plaintiffs. Wonder how that is going....
I would also like to know! Couldn't find a way to get the records for that court online (pacer is federal only and it's a case-by-case crap shoot for non-federal courts as to what they let you access how). Anyone have them or local enough to grab in person?
Finally got around to entry #2 of the deep 10 llc bankruptcy Schedules, Statements, and Summary filings (deeproot tech was #1).
This one is for deeproot studios. Four pages removed because they contained non-business addresses for creditors (most if not all related to wages).
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Yeah I think Bill Brandes may own that useless shit, which is why he isn't trying too hard to get involved.
When last Bill weighed in, he said he wasn't going to pursue the ip issue because he wouldn't want to do anything to decrease the chances of people getting games.
Given that that ship has officially sailed/sunk, might Bill now opt to enter the fray for funsies?

Why twist the knife that's already in a corpse?

greatwichjohn will you be going deeproot shopping once the liquidation begins?

No I will not be going after IP stuff personally. There are likely numerous parties looking at the IP & other remaining assets that might come up at auction. The parties want to remain quiet, & see how things pan out. People can either believe this or not. I have no agenda to stir up the Deeproot fiasco. But the horse is not dead as far as I know at this time.

This is clearly a lie.
Tell your scumbag friends that trying to start a company with anything related to Jpop or Derp Poop will result in the end of their company.

They want to remain quiet and yet you continue to post random crap about it on the internet...

Because anything to do with Zideare or Dr have been successful this far. Your friends aren't the brightest bunch.
If anyone has any info on the how and when regarding this auction please post here or PM me. I am looking for a component of little value to most people that DR took possession of.

Kids, this is what bankrupt and stupid look like. just say no.
RAZA only sold 70 units even with 60 million behind it and before we knew of the fraud.
These "IP"'s aren't worth the electricity it took to run my laptop while I typed this.

This is my first bankruptcy rodeo, so I'm not sure the process. Possible there will be filings to the court with this info, but I wouldn't count on it. Perhaps you can contact the trustee to ask?

In response to greatwhichjohn:
As we have seen in the recent court documents, it is very likely that Deeproot never legally owned the IP for RAZA, magic girl etc to begin with.....even then, the only real "value" at this point would be selling reproduction Magic Girl translites, which is hardly a lucrative investment.
Outside of the plant & equipment items, there is unlikely to be much of any "value" as part of the auction of assets in the liquidation. There could be a few pinsiders who purchase something labelled Deeproot as a curiosity item for their game room, but there is still a limited audience for that.
Despite the tens of millions $USD capital & years spent by Deeproot, the company didn't create much or anything of "value" to be liquidated

That's great news! Where can I send money so I can get on the list early. I really want to support anyone who is trying to get these games made and don't want to miss out.

No one is looking to take any money until the mess is sorted out. See if anything IP or assets can be used towards pinball production. The JPOP & Deeproot relationship has to be sorted out. Along with the person who still likely has ownership rights (Bill).
Do I think JPOP or Deeproot games might be made. Maybe, but at this time it is a long shot unless many hurtles are resolved. Or likely IP will be bought not be be used or for different pinball projects in the future.
The unknown is all the IP that all the employees were working on all these years. So far that info seems to be not spoken for in the legal proceedings.

This is the Canadian version of "lets wait and see..."
Two new SEC filings:
Bobby asks for yet another extension to answer the complaint, again without opposition from the SEC. Not sure what number extension we're up to at this point.
Bobby files a reply to the response to his motion to stay the SEC case.
deeproot-sec-36-2021.01.19.pdf
First time seeing a reply to a response to something the replying party originally filed. Does the SEC now get to file a response to the reply to the response to the motion?

Well crapass… I’d imagine this is not going to help the flow of auction information any.
Actually I spoke too soon. It appears the law firm is assisting with liquidation of estate assets. This might be a good thing… I can’t believe I just said that about involving lawyers lol!
Well I put in a request for information when the time comes. Let’s see what happens. Thanks Blueberry!

It's just the trustee basically bringing on help for either specialization, scale, or just manpower. Not uncommon at all. Think of them like deputies here
Ah yes, I regard the trustee counsel as a positive development.
My apologies for throwing things off by using a playful turn of phrase. I only hope that my carelessness does not prompt people to associate deeproot with embarrassing blunders.

Oh the memes are going to flow when Robert loses his law license over this scandal.
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:Robert sure seems to have a thing for car washes...

Like coin-op, car washes are a great way to launder money. And I didn't write that as a pun.

Is this the car wash Robert loaned a bunch of money for? I remember finding it a few months ago and wondering when it would come up again.
Don’t name all your scam companies the same basic thing… makes searching public record databases very easy.
I'd argue a coin-op is a better way to launder money.
A coin-op is going to draw a consistent amount of energy per month with games in attract mode. An active game will draw EVER SO SLIGHTLY MORE because of the speakers running when game is active. Averaged out.... imperceptible difference in energy used.
Compare this to a car wash which requires water in and waste out per transaction. It shouldn't be difficult to track receipts against water usage and find the cheats.
Robert is once again an idiot and not even an intelligent criminal.

Assume not, but I haven't looked into it. I thought the other one was a friend's in Texas. This one is in Utah (at least that's where it's registered).

Several pages with home addresses have been removed. I screenshotted the parts of those pages that listed staff personal items left at the office which could not be retrieved following the judge's dr asset freeze.

Hopefully the judge's adjustment to his order allowing the landlord to show the property to prospective buyers can also allow for the return of these possessions to their owners.
Any creditors (or others) planning to attend Friday's zoom call? Haven't seen that it's been changed, but if you're involved with the proceedings and have an update that it is, please share.

And we're adjourned until a month from today because no representative from the debtor was present. Trustee representative (I assume) asked a few questions of others, but said the rest of his questions were for the debtors.
Court stuff is lame.
