Quoted from Mr68:I've been trying to tell people this for a couple of years now. We now have more pinball manufactures than at any other time in history. This aint your fathers pinball market any more.
Americas Most Haunted, 150 made. Rob Zombie, 300 made. Mafia, 10 made. Cosmic Carnival, way less than 100 made. Where are the prices on those rare games now?
Big Bang Bar set the benchmark for all others to compare too and the ride lasted for years. But it was a perfect storm in its day and that was back in 2007. Only Stern was around then. And even today, Big Bang Bar is well below its peak value but people still whisper about the next BBB.
Interesting comment.
I just listened to the interview and the fact is that we like Robert or not, he is handling his subject pretty well and knows where he is going. The fact that he is putting himself in front line like this is a risk, for sure, but he has some balls to do it. He is even involved in design, he is everywhere.
The fact that he said weired things in the past, and he is recognizing now, can be forgiven if he build a successfull company IMO.
Pinball is hard and they have build a first pin, I know it’s’not enough but let’s recognize it’s a good thing.
I personnaly would be really interested to see the new version of Magic Girl, one day maybe...
