Quoted from Raincity:I'm starting a Kickstarter for the Ishtar pin.
St. Elmo's Fire? lol

St. Elmo's Fire? lol
Quoted from SadSack:I never liked Goonies after I realized Creepy Spieilberg made 11 year old boys act like "penis breath" would be something kids that age think of. It was really subversive.. Just like Indy Jones was a Pedo. You don't catch on to it until you see how depraved it is from an adult viewpoint. Sad Sack to the rescue. Whannn, whanaaanannanh.
Living up to your username i see.

How did we get here?
So your saying Trudeau will be on their team?
Well that would be even more shocking then JPop
Quoted from javagrind888:GREMLINS!! Gremlins Gremlins Gremlins Gremlins Gremlins Gremlins Gremlins Gremlins
Don’t feed them after midnight (midnight madness) mode would be very cool.
Quoted from Fulltilt:Oh dear God, that would be bad. Why not make a Tootsie pin while we're at it.
C'mon, Hard Enough Life Multiball! I can hear the Daddy Warbucks callout already.
Quoted from Raincity:I'm starting a Kickstarter for the Ishtar pin.
Maybe you can follow that up with "Heaven's Gate"...odds are the license is available at a pretty low cost.
Quoted from nwpinball:Apparently it's a crazy QAnon conspiracy theory, I just Googled it. I was hoping pinball would remain a safe haven from that crazy stuff.
So confirmed it's a QAnon pin?
But seriously I think Friday the 13th would sell well.
Quoted from ausretrogamer:Big Trouble In Little China would be darn awesome!
One of the greatest movies of all time. I usually let play overrule any theme. But in this case I'd struggle to not jump on it. But I think I'm a bit fringe, and there isn't a large enough market for it.

A short run R&M style would sell out quick.
Quoted from Krupps4:Any guesses as to the ‘80s movie theme the K-man mentioned today on his podcast that Deeproot has supposedly secured the license for? He said it’s as big as Ghostbusters. That’s a pretty big theme.
ET or BTTF He said between 82-88, and a juggernaut. But... I might be in for Three Men and a Baby too....
Quoted from TheCoinSlotTC:... He said between 82-88, and a juggernaut...[quoted image]
Based on your list of movies from 1982-1988, I would say it is Top Gun (1986). Plus a new Top Gun movie is coming out soon. And your other clue is a juddernaut. The Juggernaut meaning/definition is: A huge, powerful, and overwhelming force or institution. ie, US Air Force. I would definitely consider the US military a 'juggernaut'. Based on this is has to be a Top Gun pinball machine.
Quoted from javagrind888:A short run R&M style would sell out quick.
Would love to see Spooky take on that theme!
Quoted from Kkoss24:I’d bet be ET or Top Gun
ET has been a famously successful IP property for gaming (the type of historic hit that any new game company would want to evoke!) so I'd say you are probably right!
Tomorrow will be a milestone in the wait as there are only 3 nights to go. What a wait RAZA was. Any else on 21st is nothing more than s.p.e.c.u.l.a.t.i.o.n. Im not interested in any 80s theme besides Blade Runner from 82. Thats my guess.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:ET has been a famously successful IP property for gaming (the type of historic hit that any new game company would want to evoke!) so I'd say you are probably right!
Soo, your saying we might be able to find some ET pinball machines buried in a dump somewhere in 20 years!
Quoted from Makakka:Im not interested in any 80s theme besides Blade Runner from 82. Thats my guess.
While I‘d totally buy that, I don‘t know how to make an action packed pinball machine out of such a slow movie.
Blade Runner Cyberpunk universe pin: Awesome!
Blade Runner Movie pin: Uhhh...
I‘d guess they only show Raza to get the line slowly to start and announce the next game when they‘re able to ramp up production.
Quoted from T-800:I think ET would be a huge dud as a pinball. Hope its something else...
ET didn't "escape the 80s" so I'd agree.
Do we know for sure it's a movie? Maybe they're making a Michael Jackson pinball.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:ET has been a famously successful IP property for gaming (the type of historic hit that any new game company would want to evoke!) so I'd say you are probably right!
Right on! The atari E. T. Was the best!

I'll never forget where I was three nights before a another random, fruitless date from Deeproot.
Quoted from benheck:Do we know for sure it's a movie?
That's what K said, so...
He also said "it's not Gremlins" (wich in my opinion didn't escape the 80's as well) so, I wouldn't trust in his assessment.

Except for Atari ET cart landfill project lol
Quoted from Fifty:C'mon, Hard Enough Life Multiball! I can hear the Daddy Warbucks callout already.
Tootsie pinball... "I gotta' dick" wizard mode.
Thank god none of you guys are in charge of picking pin themes for production - none of that stuff sounds good .
They are finally getting the vanity launch they always wanted. What a head shaker that is.
I'm sure they have built a nice auditorium. lol
Wasting even more money bringing "pinball media" in to town?

All fine by me. Send me the tracking.

Hey you and me both, except i live here, just let me know what day to pick it up next week?
Quoted from iceman44:Hey you and me both, except i live here, just let me know what day to pick it up next week?
Looks like the Tuesday the 22nd should be good.
Quoted from phil-lee:Prince.
I think a Prince Purple Rain pinball would be fantastic, but I imagine getting the license for the music and images would be really spendy.
Quoted from nwpinball:I think a Prince Purple Rain pinball would be fantastic, but I imagine getting the license for the music and images would be really spendy.
Robert has money and John loves purple..
Quoted from Rezdog:Just a few forgotten 80s classics:
Fast Times at Ridgemount High
Caddyshack
Friday the 13th
The Breakfast Club
The Lost Boys
Untouchables
Heathers
First Blood
Purple Rain
This is Spinal Tap
Robocop
Platoon
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The Thing
None of those are forgotten at all. None of those are even "cult" films.
Quoted from nwpinball:Prince Purple Rain pinball
hoo ho ho ho (bling), hoo ho ho ho
with The Revolution. Perfect JPOP pin based on the movie but who is doing the art bc trademark of zidware was Zombie Yeti who also did the art on the comparable Kiss pin. So I guess JPOP will do nothing else before AIW and MG are released so noone will do Purple Rain.
Quoted from TheCoinSlotTC:He said between 82-88, and a juggernaut
Money Pit (1986)
Quoted from BobSacamano:Money Pit (1986)[quoted image]
Money Pit, that’s the DR investors theme...
I'm taking a mental snapshot right now. Click! This is where I was 3 days before Deeproot announced their next teaser.

You will allways remember this... not.
