    Quoted from goatdan:

Wow. Okay, more shocking that Rob would just say that it was cancelled when it wasn't, and I would have to believe he knew that.

I think Rob was saying that Expo 2018 is cancelled. He is announcing and starting a new show in Sept. It's not his place to announce Mike's new show in Oct (that happens to be the same dates and venue as the old show).

Anyone but me wish it was Rob in Oct at the Westin and Mike in Sept in Schaumburg?

I was more thinking about tradition and industry support factors in the above comment -

I'm cautiously optimistic about Rob's show. I'd like to hear more. If he gets industry support and hobby support - what else from other shows could or should be incorporated?

    Quoted from cfh:

On the website... Berk has complete control of that. Even though it promotes Mike's show. Berk should transfer the URL ownership to Mike, and let mike re-do the website. Why hasn't that happened Mr. Berk??? If it never happens that will tell you something about the people involved...

If nobody owns the rights to the Pinball Expo name, why would he transfer the rights to the Pinball Expo website to Mike? Rob and Mike should both setup their own websites for their new shows. The old Pinball Expo website should have a short, professional explanation and a link to each show.

These two have been co-owners/business partners for 30+ years. How each of them handles the split will tell the community which show deserves our support. I hope it's both of them.

Now that they are separate, they can create their own show with their own vision. I'm interested to see what each of them creates.

    Quoted from Whysnow:

Would be great but I dont think Benton could hos a couple thousand people at the local pub

One BIG-ass tent! Like our summer church festivals in Wisconsin. Get the church to sponsor it and we get drinking, gambling, and pinball.

Before anyone that doesn't know about asks, Wisconsin Catholic churches have huge summer festivals with live music and include they above (substitute bingo for pinball).
