Very clean TZ for sale in Livonia. New rubbers, very clean and polished play field. Play field is in great condition with a full set of cliffys installed. No hacks and a new clock board. Game works great. I prefer to sell it locally. These are camera pics. I will post better ones soon. Any questions feel free to ask.

$5000

glwts..I think it won't last long...great price for a very nice looking TZ

#3 10 years ago

I recently took a hard look at TZ with a fresh set of eyes. That games is designed so well with sound, graphics and theme so intertwined. Mine is dialed in an places fantastic every time. It is timeless and classic. The only reason these things are available for $5k - $6k (one in super shape with mods) range is that there were 15k of them made. If they had only made a few thousand of them, I'd better they would selling for $20k.

#1 on Pinside for ever.....I guarantee you it will still be better than Hobbit, Predator, Magic Girl, Zombie Adventureland, America’s Most Haunted or other.

GLWTS but I bet you will regret selling it one day.

Asking price seems below peak for the condition. I would have touched up the black on the back of the cab first though, that 5 minute job is costing you points GLWTS

TZ is the only game I've owned twice. Do I want to own it 3 times?? In the year 2000- $1500, in the year 2011- $3300, in the year 2014- $5000 And the funny thing is that this seems like a good price relative to what others are asking. A genuine good luck on the sale to you!

Is that Novus on the ramp or a crack? How about the exit hole on the upper playfield?

#6 10 years ago

Gorgeous. And no side art fade! GLWS (although no L is probably needed).

#7 10 years ago

Is it a U.S. game or a reimport?

#8 10 years ago

Interested in a BSD towards the TZ?

#9 10 years ago

Not interested in trades right now. Its a domestic game.

I'm wondering how this ended up in games wanted. I swear I hit market. Can a mod move this please?

Only differences would be the coin door and jumper settings for power. Other than that the games are identical and came off the same line.

Shooter lane looks great, too. GLWTS!

I see the rocket kicker has a Cliffy protector on it. When I had my TZ, that was probably the single best mod I bought. My rocket kicker was wildly erratic and frustrating until I installed that Cliffy. After that it worked perfect every time. Game looks sweet! Good luck on the sale!

Not true. At the very least, re-import games do not have a standard service outlet.

Still, insignificant differences. It's not like the playfield artwork and lettering is in a foreign language or something.

The biggest concern on re-imports is corrosion on all the metal parts, presumably from time in a shipping container.

#15 10 years ago

No corrosion. The bottom of the right ramp looks cracked....that is just reflection.

Very true. But I think the OP would've disclosed something like that.

#17 10 years ago

Re-import only makes a difference to the ubsurd, and anal...

Condition is KING...

Whether it went on a trip and came back home means nothing !

#18 10 years ago

In your opinion. There are other differences as well, I'm just letting you know that re-import games sometimes carry with them another entire set of issues. You just made it sound like you really knew.

Just reminding people with all this re-import talk that this is NOT a re-import game

I wasn't suggesting it was a problem with a game that the OP already said was a domestic machine. I was speaking in general about re-imports. Condition IS king and I have no problem with nice re-imports, but corrosion is something extra to look out for on them.

#20 10 years ago

I know, Betelguese, and I totally agree with you there.

And jalpert, both my games are reimports(Italy and Belgium). I do know what to look for. Taking condition completely out of the equation, a reimport game is nothing to be afraid of, was my point. Export game component changes are easily fixable/replaceable should one desire to do so.

I know about a lot of the "hot fixes" that overseas op's do to fliptronics boards, hack jobs on main CPU and power boards, and a lot of the other crap they did because it would've taken weeks to get the proper parts shipped overseas as where they needed the game up and running right then and there. These kinds of things typically stand out like a sore thumb to a collector and would have been disclosed or discovered upon viewing many, many pictures.

I hope you're enjoying all these free bumps MiSC90!
