Mine was doing as you describe. My welds were broken and a friend fixed the welds for me. Re-installed the scoop and still had same problem. I noticed that the scoop exit had been bent by someone to make the entrance wider, presumably to make the shot easier to hit. I bent the side at the scoop exit back to flush and now my kickout is a very predictable bounce over to the left flipper, 95% of the time.
