Bally, 1993Lately a problem has shown up on my TZ. It works great most of the time, but sometimes when the initial out shot is too long, there is about a 3-second delay before the ball is ejected from the slot outhole. It seems like the power of the ejection is sometimes affected, also.

Had this happen on mine for a while, and it seemed to crop up only after the machine was on for a while (which might suggest something heat-related?). It was intermittent and went away, and the only thing I can recall doing between it happening and not happening was installing a new clock board and Rottendog CPU. Not that they're related, especially the clock board, but if it was something in the logic or wiring on the CPU that might have done it?
