This is fantastic, just want to ask is it cheaper to build than to buy?
This guy contacted me by PM ... think he would like some help from you!
I can't verify someone I don't know , however he seems legit
Today the honors is for the side rails ,playfield height ,lockdown bar ,just to make sure everything fall in place and perfection!!
New playfields have arrived from Mirco and all I have to say is flat as glass because as I mentioned i’am building 2 Twilight zone games at the same time .807625A2-9D29-4A2A-BE47-DB1B958C387C (resized).jpeg
I have added a few mm on the cabinet so the brushed side blades take place but also not to have a snag fit but also not rubbing the sides of the playfield to the cabinet.
More to come in the next days!!
Enjoy pinheads
Regards
Dimitri
Quoted from transprtr4u:Great work ... like how you made space between the playfield and the cabinet
When I was designing the cab I added 2 mm on each side bottom, front and back and this way I have more clearance so the playfield won’t rub on the sides when I pull it out but also that clearance will also give me the space to add polished blades ,because to be honest I don’t like mirrored).
Almost done finalizing the second cabinet for the second twilight zone !!
These games will be twins and identical!!
And starting to lay down wiring and bought plenty of new wire to start scratch building and remaking all wiring new for cabinet, back box,and playfield.
Also back to the drawing again to remake the switch and plate assembly C-11615.6DCF864A-80F5-4FD2-895B-C9FCEC4DFA84 (resized).jpeg6DCF864A-80F5-4FD2-895B-C9FCEC4DFA84 (resized).jpeg

Today was working and fabricating wire support brackets from scratch ,giving all boards a deep clean and starting to populate the playfields from under.
After all boards in place the honors goes on the playfield wiring.
Quoted from alexanr1:Did you vacuum form that clear under playfield tunnel?
I did that back on 2016 when I build my first twilight zone.
Here are some photos from back then, very time consuming but nothing impossible!!

Thx for sharing. I knew of some people who have done that. It is definitely time consuming!
Today came up with this idea!!
I have noticed that when you lift up the playfield with the service arm and you want to do some work on your playfield for a wile the playfield is too heavy and you can see it sag from one side an especially on the twilight zone that is a very heavy and too much populated with parts ,so I decided to implement a second stay arm on the left side also so now I can work as much as I like and not to worry about all that playfield weight go on one stay arm so Twilight zone will have two stay arms and will also be a stay arm from wpc 95 and not the blade style like all wpc 89 games have .
Second cabinet ready for priming and painting after finalizing the last two holes on the front cab for the start button and extra ball (also this cabinet is different from the first one I made ,this one has oak finish much more hard surface than maple.
Enjoy guys, more fun stuff on the way

Incredible craftsmanship, in depth discussion, incredible thread!
Thank you very much for sharing, could you take some pics of the completed wire forms? By far that is the most impressive to me. Take care!
Hello, everyone, how are you doing? I know a site that I found out about when I first started playing, here is its link https://casinonotongamstopuk.com/. With the help of this information, I began to more or less understand games.

I take it that there was considerable expense in purchasing the components that you could not make, such as the circuit boards under the playfield, circuit boards in the head, etc. Your metal work is amazing as well as making the cab from scratch. Just wondering approximately how much money did you spend in order to purchase the components you did not make.
