We recently got the TZ as our first machine and we are loving. We have noticed that when the ball falls into the Rocket Launcher it does not always "launch". Many times we have to wait a while for the system to realize that there is something wrong and then it runs through its tests until it launches.

Any advice on how to fix this?

In the tests, select the switch test and confirm the switch works reliably.

What he said...you just have a bad or flaky switch. Replace it or you can try to bend it up just a little to make it more sensitive. In switch test mode, test with a ball, not your finger

keep in mind TZ does not have a high power shut off the coils are always on even during switch test.Like other members said could be a flacky/faulty/bad switch or your machine is not tilted properly meaning the back legs are not leveled at 6.5 or 7 slope the playfield has to be slanted

...switch works in switch test, coil works in coil test. but doesn't kick the ball out when I set a ball in there. I have not played the game, I'm in the beginning stages of first power on.

Did you test the switch using a ball or your finger? Always confirm the test using the ball.

Wow bro. solved! Switch needed adjustments with the ball.
