I have owned my TZ since 1998 and now im going to take it apart to do a major cleaning. Upon taking the upper main ramp off I see this screw this is wedged in between the lower ramps? Anybody ever see this? I have no idea what it is for but it is screwed into the playfield.

Thanks

Quoted from Juicerc51:

Im looking for a clear blue clock housing if anyone happens to have one.

I believe Planetary Pinball has them.

Quoted from ray-dude:

Folks, I'm stripping down my TZ for a cleaning and saw what looks like two pilot holes right by the lock ball outlet (see photo). Are there supposed to be posts here or something, or maybe is this a vestige of some older iteration of the design?

Mine has the same holes

Quoted from dboeren:

I want to refresh my lower flippers (uppers seem fine as they only make short shots), they're a bit weak and are presumably original.
What I need help with is understanding whether I need a flipper rebuild kit, new solenoid coils, or both. They aren't BAD, but I'd like a bit more power to hit the top ramps.
Thanks!

In my honest opinion, I would go to pinball Life and order new flipper assemblies as you can even order the coil you want. You can get a rebuild kit but by the time you get that and a coil, limit switch, its almost the same price and you are going to solder anyways. That is what I have been doing.

Quoted from monkfe:

are you talking about the cross over wire form that goes to the left inlane? the one with the circular spiral (shown above a few post back)? Davi made those for a bit...not sure what his status is of making new ones....

Look him up and ask him to see if will make you one. I did and he is going to make one for me.

Quoted from GILV:

I just received a response from the seller and installed it, here's where it goes (see picture) and here's what he says:
if you remove the metal shooter lane scoop under the playfield, it will use the same mounts, hole is for switch wire to poke through playfield, led point at scoop.
Great mod, well thought of....

Can we get a picture or short video of it working? looks like something I would want.

Thanks,

Quoted from driller:

I have a really nice TZ. My one complaint is the translite reflection on the glass. I do have complete led's which are bright. Will the mirrored backglass help with the reflection?
thanks

Get your self a piece of Voo Doo glass for it. It will cut down on the reflection

Install the spiral ramp this weekend. This is awsome.

Quoted from jid:

Video is private. . Did you just get one? I’ve been on the fence about this for a while but feeling inspired!

I had just got it the other day. I had ordered it from Davi here on PinSide. Hopfully the video works now

Quoted from ParisPinballAdct:

this twisted aftermarket ramp looks so very good.
is it still possible to order one from David, here on Pinside, you reckon?

You need to PM Davi and ask him. Thats what I did, didn't take that long.

Quoted from ramegoom:

Beta-testers lined up, testing begins. This will be the "catch-all" board that covers all machines, with or without GIOCD options.
[quoted image]

I was one of the testers and I would say, this worked and looks great. Before I had put the LED's in the stock board and you could see the lights as individual, now its even lighting which is great. I have attached photos of before and after. Top is the new board. Thanks again John at GameRoom

I have been running the 7th ball in mine for a while now and honestly I don't have a preference. My score maybe went up a little but not anything special. I am going to put it back to 6 here pretty soon to see any difference.

Quoted from Mad_Dog_Coin_Op:

Adding a 7th ball gets a little interesting if the ball added is a second power ball in the game.
