I had no idea I could pause my TZ with the home ROM ... very cool, even if I never use it.

I learned how to start LITZ accidentally one day when kneeling on the extra ball button (playing sitting down in a chair after foot surgery).

Where can I get a Robby the Robot? I prefer to mod it myself, so just the base toy. But if that is unobtanium I'd consider the expensive modded one ... maybe.

Quoted from LitzDoc:

How do you jump to the LITZ mode? I would like to give it a try.
Thanks

Press and hold the buy in button. I don't recall needing to hit the slot machine as Mario_1_up says. Give it a go.

Finished up a couple of mods today...

First, illuminated the power playfield signs. Mounted a light socket behind each sign and tied it into, the GI from the TZ lamp hood (orange,orange/white wires):

Then finished my Hallmark TV mod. Full credit goes to Ed Cheung as this is straight from his plans, with a couple of minor modifications:

Wiring was tied to the 5v source on the clock board.
Ground from the "G" pin, right side, second from bottom. 5v from the top leg of "C2". I made a wiring harness and tied in in from the rear so as not to mess with the board more than I had to.

And it all came together like this. Hard to see the TV images from the photos, but it looks great during play. It plays a couple dozen pics from various TZ episodes, one shot of Pat Lawlor's, and one of the translite.

Quoted from LitzDoc:

This might be an stupid question on this thread but if you could only own one machine would I definitely be TZ?
I would say yes for me.

Hard to say, but it's definitely a contender. I can't imagine ever selling our TZ ... just so much for the money. If they tried to build it today I would think minimum $8k retail.

Quoted from merccat:

Loading a game in a new friends van, I noticed he had lined the bottom with hardboard. Genius! It slid in super easily.

Not sure what "hardboard" is, but I used paneling and it worked perfect. The pin slides freely on it.
