Quoted from btw75:

I am having a difficult time getting the auto launch to have a smooth shot through the orbit. 20% of the time the ball bounces around too much by the time it gets to the magnets. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue - maybe as many as 30% don't make it.
Check this page here for one solution. I haven't tried it yet but wil when I get around to it.

You can find a pdf of the manual on IPDB. Instructions are within that - it's not hard.

Also while I'm at it ball sometimes drops out of the rocket, have adjusted the ball guide, is it normal to drop out sometimes

This link has a fix: http://www.retroblast.com/articles/modzone_3.html#Bounce
The minipost is available from PSPA. It works, haven't had a bounce out since.
Some other good tips on that website.

I liked the first one better.

I agree, the first is MUCH better and shows off the spiral in better detail.
Though the numbers are on the original, I don't think they are necessary and add to clutter.
It's great you are making both though for those whose opinions differ.

See this fix. It solves the issue.

Quoted from Parker_tz:

On my Twilight zone about half the time I skill shot the ball into the rocket it bounces out. It does not ever launch it just hits the ball Guide and falls out. It is nothing to do with the adjustable ball Guide because I set it right in the middle of the hitchhiker under the mini playfield. Does any one have any tips of how to fix it?
