there is one for sale, but wants $500 at least. Cannot see it being worth that much, and may be annoying
Quoted from PeterRandall:And that's the end of that - my rocket mod broke for the last time - that thing always breaks off in the middle of powerball mania, or some sweet mode - anyone else give up on their rocket mod?
Mine has been sitting inside the cab for 6 months. Always snapped at the worst time. Was one of the silver ones, so sisnt look as good as the more recent white ones
Can I get an expression of interest from those who would like a spiral ramp? I have a source that could make them for us, just wanted to know how many would like one. Not sure of the price, but I'm not in it to make money.
with all that dust, just a quick blow-job and it'll be a happy camper. Maybe use a couple of rubbers too.
Quoted from Spidey171:So did you get permission from the original designers to steal their product? This ramp is already made, been shipped over to the USA, and made by the original company. Sorry, but you have no product in stock, or made any at all. I would take that as, No they are not being made again by the originals. Thanks for the support in my auction. I am sure it will sell perfectly fine
Ouch. Sorry. I thought Bally/Williams were out of business, and this mod was a post-production thing. I think you'll have no trouble selling the spiral ramp - they seem to come up on ebay regularly as "one-offs" from a friends machine and fetch a good price. I'm just getting a friend to knock one off for my machine as I can't seem to get the rare ebay ones, and postage over here is a killer.
There are a number of mods around that get copied rightly or wrongly. So long as it's not a commercial venture being sold in quantity as retail, I assume it's acceptable. If a few are made for forum members only, it's more a friendly gesture. Again, my apologies if it causes stress.
Is everyone watching development of this? I've always wanted someone to do this - nutrition and pinball in the one place!
anyone getting the gumball mod? not cheap, but looks well made - I'm going to grab ver 3 for the Dollar Bill Acceptor slot. My kids will be bugging me to play the game even more than I do now!
Quoted from Chrisg:Check out my pretty new clock hands. Mirror polished stainless steel. I'll post some pics of them in my clock when I get a chance. I have also made some red and blue plastic ones for a bit of fun. More pics soon!
Nice job - and just up the road from me. Can I grab a set BEFORE you quickly get a C&D order from the lads?
Quoted from ALY:Haven't played my TZ for a while now and few days ago I powered it up, played few games and suddenly ball release coil and lock release coil stopped working. Went into the test mode and both solenoids work. I wasn't expecting that.
Like there's a switch problem that the system doesn't recognize the ball is there to kick it out.. But even the ball search process doesn't kick'em out?!
Didn't had time to actually look deeper into this problem, that's why I'm asking here if anyone's got a clue what might be the cause of it.
Check the switch at the start of the shooter lane is registering that the ball is there. If the coils work, it means they aren't getting the signal to fire the ball. Just put a ball there in switch test mode and see.
Quoted from wantdataeast:Could someone here in the TZ owner club explain the why there is a gumball machine on the pinball? It is talked about like it is the central feature of the playfield.... but could someone tell me what it has to do with any TZ episode? It certainly does not pertain to any great classic episodes. Help me out here.

all tie-ins explained, but gumball is just a bit of fun.
Quoted from scampcamp:Just curious if there are capacitors I can change on the sound board that would make the game sound better?
Pinsound.org is the best solution for improving the sound. A couple of great new sound mixes are availale on the community forum as well a an upgraded stereo original. Makes a hugh difference even with stock speakers.
