OK, mystery part time. This just dropped out from underneath my playfield, maybe from near the slot scoop, unsure. TZ part or random junk?

Ha, awesome, thanks. It's a new game to me so wasn't 100% sure. Glad that didn't short something out.
Quoted from Damien:On my MMr, the back legs and front legs are screwed all the way in (lowest point) and that comes in at about 7 degrees, which I like for that game.
HELP!
The best I could get on mine with front all the way down and back all the way up was 6 degrees. I had to swap out the back levelers for 3 inch ones and then I could get to 6.5 degrees. My floor slopes down in the back though. Make sure the legs are all in the right cabinet holes, too.
Quoted from Damien:Would 31" Gottlieb legs fit properly?
Yes, the ones on mine are 31 inch. They work, but after reading these comments I realized they're the wrong legs. The downside to the longer legs is that you'll have to mount them on the top 2 holes (possibly resulting in art damage unless protected, as others have noted), and your machine will likely look slightly too tall if it's side by side with other machines. Mine's next to a Theatre and the height at the rails/top of backbox is about an inch higher than it should be. The 31 inch legs also give it a slightly wider footprint on the floor.
Rocket kicker question: Where should the rocket kicker send the ball? Into the upper flipper/camera hole or into the hitchhiker loop/pops? Mine usually hits the rubber post inbetween these two areas. Any way to adjust this mech so it puts the ball somewhere consistently or is it supposed to be random?
Quoted from Coyote:Hitchhiker. The bottom (towards player) metal guide can be adjusted.
Great, thanks! Easy fix.
Thanks for explaining the lock/multiball options. Those remind me of the I&S settings on TSPP, confusing.
Is the "Lite Right Spiral" insert supposed to always be lit? Mine seems to be. It correctly registers and activates spiral like it should, but even after registering never goes dark with the exception of multiballs (?).
Quoted from tonyf1965:I have been looking to add a rocket ship mod. I really like this one.
Has anyone seen one of these or knows were to get one?
The silver one in the picture was made by pinballpro, but it's an older version. They still make one, but it looks more like the rocket on the playfield. http://pinballpro.net/shop/twilight-zone-rocket-ship-tz-6/
Quoted from dnaman:If anyone else is working on new sounds, let me know.
Can you swap out music with Pinsound, or just call-outs? (Sorry, probably dumb question, but haven't ever thought about trying a pinsound). I would love TZ even more with some of the more atmospheric, minimalistic music from the shows.
Quoted from drummermike:My upper left flipper usually only works when I press the button in fully. It seems to work slowly at times also. I am not sure how to get it to work in tandem with the lower left flipper. When I got this TZ all the flippers were OK.
Funny, I came here this morning to post the exact same question. With a soft/halfway button push, only my bottom right flipper fires. A hard or full push fires both right flippers. I wish they triggered more simultaneously, but maybe they're not supposed to? There doesn't seem to be so noticeable of a lag on my left flippers though.
Anyone else have a clunky orbit off the auto-plunge? Mine will complete the orbit maybe 50% of the time. More of an annoyance than a problem except after completing wizard mode when the game tries to reload the gumball machine with the correct number of balls. After failing to do that several times, it will give up, and you're left with some weird issues like 2 balls in the plunger lane, etc.
Can the orbit be adjusted for a smoother/faster loop or is this a thing?

Would finally buy a pinsound board if somebody would whip this up into a file...
