Part of the club now for about a month after picking up a TZ from fellow pinsider arcadebrothers!

While cleaning up, changing to Titans, replacing slot target and magnets, and some other stuff I found what looked like the end of a screw slightly sticking up out of the playfield behind the upper left flipper in the ball path to the camera shot. After removing the flipper mechanism it turns out it is roll pin. It can't be lowered into the playfield as it hits a flipper coil bracket screw. Pics are after I pushed it out some.

Is this meant to be there?

On my TZ, the ball ejector and auto shooter are both only successful in doing their jobs about 2/3 of the time and seem weak. The ball ejector feels free, not binding. Anyone have similar issues?

I had the same high score issue on 9.4H. My guess is the problem was one of the preset grand champion scores was less than the next highest score and that screwed it all up. I changed all of the preset scores starting at 50M in 50M increments up to the grand champion for both non-buy-in and buy-in scores then did a high score reset. Works as it should now.

In the midst of my first under ramp cleaning, is this plastic supposed to be bent like this?

Is the front post too long then?

Looks to be 1-1/2" tall.

Well my regular 250 play interval clean/wax/new balls turned into adding a subway clean/wax then full flipper rebuilds then under ramp and mini playfield clean/wax then a gumball internal cleaning all in an effort to stop or at least delay ball trails that were forming pretty quickly.

TZ has been out off commission for a month but starting to go back together...hoping to not have to do all that again for a long time.

Will be installing @Twister mini playfield switch kit along the way.

I replaced a plastic near the gumbal machine and the new one was slightly different including hole locations being slightly off. The old plastic and most of the rest of the plastics have a hand written "-SP" at the end of the part numbers. Are all machine like this? Any significance for the SP?

Edit: Never mind, should have searched before posting, found the answer in the forum (is the manufacturer's initial)

Has anyone created custom TZ coin reject button inserts? Searched but didn't find any...

Both cool.

I've been experimenting. My red buttons limit the options though.

Quoted from Bestshore:

Yes the outhole is working 100%.

Also make sure the trough wire gate that prevent the balls from traveling backwards is intact. I was having similar issues and found my wire gate missing.
