Dogs are the best; sorry for your loss.

#53 4 years ago

Hey thanks jay it means a lot. He was just so cool and personable. Happiest guy in the world.

#54 4 years ago

I am sorry for the loss of your friend.

Man, does it hurt.

My buddy had an Am Foxhound (probably a mix though). He was a great dog, too. I'd like to get one one day.

I am shopping to buy my first pin, and and part of the reason I am hesitant to buy one is because Suzy (my yellow lab) nearly died a few months ago. That drained a lot out of the checking account. And since we don't know what caused it, and we have the looming threat that it could happen again, I am not about to spend the cash cushion we have left in the checking account. So my first pinball is going to need be a lower cost game.

Pins are great, but dogs are much more valuable. They love you back.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. That's a rough thing.

Sorry about your dog man. They are the best.

Quoted from ElectricCircuit:

I just put out 400k in other games

Quoted from ElectricCircuit:

I take the spend 200 all day long as I make about double that per hour when out working

Quoted from ElectricCircuit:

I've bought about 1000 new in box pins I would say; and I own 350-400 huo games.

Why do you just make stuff up? I would normally say "exaggerate", but this goes beyond exaggeration.

$400 a hour? Wow, makes me question what I'm doing wrong since I have a jd and have been practicing for 26 years and don't even bill that an hour even though I'm in a specialized field and according to the State Bar of Michigan annual survey, that hourly income puts him as an outlier in the 99.8th percentile for billing for all lawyers in Michigan and it's only flipping pinballs! It also places him, just for kicks, in the 95th percentile for practicing physicians who are in specialty fields with 10 or more years of experience, and if you include hospital and general practitioners, it is in the 97th percentile for income.

400 HUO games seems statistically improbable given the relative percentage of true home-use-only machines to the number of machines which are not truly home-use-only.

350-400$ an hour gets you a junior lawyer in a big firm here - at least in the political/energy biz. It can also get you a very specialized subject matter expert for consulting and testimony.

I was going to say something before this came up but I chose to remain silent. This is gonna get funny.

The Playfield is the nicest ; least amount of wear I have ever seen on a non huo tz..

What's this?

it's an undocumented playfield-improvement modification! It increases the aerodynamic downforce of the pinball as it zooms by, which provides you with the following benefits:

1. increased pinball speed;
2. longer playtimes;
3. regrowth of male-pattern baldness hairloss;
and most importantly
4. improved sexual gratification with your spouse or significant other (or both!)

#63 4 years ago

by the way, EC, very sorry for the loss of your dog. Any dog-owner has been (or will be going) through that at some point. Sometimes I think that loss is more painful then the loss of a relative/loved one.

perhaps we are on to something here btw75 -- maybe I've missed a market for Pinball expert testimony or a lobbyist/SIG for Pinball manufacturers in Congress!

That spot on the Playfield is documented clearly the law lmao you and your stupid posts. I wish I could see you in person somewhere around here. Get a life bro. The spot there is easily fixed and cleared if you have half a brain, look at the shooter lane, scoop and other drops; as well as the UP. It's the cleanest non huo I've seen as the other major wear areas that are amazing trump two pen tip spots in front of the drop target.

Now for Keith; Thanks for the kind words about my lucky boy. I'm just going to ignore your other words as I just really don't care right now. Idk if anyone knows, but new batman drivers 12k+ new monster cranes 30k, keymasters 6k+, Mario karts and dead heats 15k a pair minimum. Basketballs 5-7k, skee balls 6-8k each. Games are more expensive than pinballs believe it or not.

People on these forums amaze me, they literally are too lazy to do anything but troll and try to find people lying etc. I don't care to impress any of you by what I say, and if you look at my posts I have never trolled anyone like the law does or like Keith is trying to do to me. Get lives guys, you're contributing nothing to the thread here. Why would I care to try and impress you people by lying? I have way too much stuff going on to even care at all. I typed what I did as people were asking why I didn't fix it yet and that's why.

Just so we can get my for sale thread back on topic and not have to deal with the trolls, I exaggerated. I own one huo game; well really a half because I cut it in two with a saw. I also make 7$ an hour. And I bought a run down outrun arcade for route that makes .50 cents a week at the local barber shop in the hood. You guys caught me. On to the rest of the thread which is about selling a twilight zone which will be fixed soon or sold as is.

Just to say hi. I don't think you would act how you do on here in person.

You my friend are a sad human being. Get a better hobby. Try betting some football or baseball games, you'll have much more of a thrill than trolling forums. Or try getting some real life friends? Just some suggestions. But if you act how you do here in real life you would end up in the icu quickly so maybe friend aren't for you silver balls.

I was thinking too if my iq was under 60 like yours I might make a screen name involving male genitalia and come on pinball threads and troll. So because you're not like the rest of us you get a free pass. Good day son.

Also mr balls, you don't post a ton so why come on here just to post on my threads? You have problems. Like legit ones. Maybe if you knew me, or even met me once I could understand it, but take your problems elsewhere. Look at your posts, hardly any could benefit any of the threads you post on or the people who made the threads. If you can't contribute to something positively you should find another hobby. Do you work at mcdonalds and hate the world? Or never had someone love you? Just wondering how someone gets in as bad of a spot as you are in.

Some people find it quite charming.

EC, didn't you have this type of meltdown on Klov?

#78 4 years ago

Ec, Show us a picture of all your HUO games stuffed inside your little dumpy Redford estate.
And what's wrong with working in the fast food industry? We all can't make $400 an hour as pinball ops.
The real question is why do you feel the need to come on here and brag/lie about how well off you are? And you're so simple minded you don't realize everyone sees right through your bs.

And you may follow up with your childish tantrums and threats ...

#79 4 years ago

Your story broke my heart. I am too a dog lover. I have had many over the years. Rescues and strays found their final homes with me. We have three now and a black cat recently adopted us. He was so thin and sickly. He looks great now.

I miss my TZ. Had to sell it to help with the house down payment. Would love this one but the shipping is cost prohibitive or I would have had it picked up earlier.

Can confirm - his charm is only equalled by his affinity for Rocky and Bullwinkle pinball.

What once was a FS thread turned into bragger central. You did the exact same thing on Klov. Frankly still not impressed after seeing you brag last year. Best of luck with your gambling problem.

there is a casino sight i've seen all to common being a casino dealer.

(referring to the casino chips and cigarette in hand)

Every dealer (smoker and non smoker) would cringe when we see that walking up to the table. Not pretty for dealers and dealing with smoke.

If you deal (bunch of my buddies do too) you can understand how easy it is to make money betting high on cold craps tables on DC and the don't line. It happens at greektown here once a night for about 4-6 hours. Can easily make 2k on bad nights, up To 10-20 on great nights. A bad loss would be 2-3 and doesn't happen often if you pick your spots right. If you know the patterns of dice it's really an easy game.

#95 4 years ago
Quoted from ElectricCircuit:

Oh I also make approx 6-9k a week on sports betting in Vegas. Also we have casinos here in Michigan; I profit about 3-4k a week there.

Quoted from ElectricCircuit:

I could be a professional gambler if I could leave my family and go to Vegas but I just can't. I do fly there for march madness and make about 80-120k a year though.

Jimmy the Greek and Rainman rolled into one.

This is true. Craps and Bac are the two games where your odds are the best. But if you want to play craps with the best odds. Only thing you can play is Pass and Odds. Which is boring as shit to play that way, but you do have 50% chance.

#97 4 years ago

I look forward to seeing this repaired and shopped. I think there's just a little too much work involved in it for the $4500 price tag. Will easily be worth 4800-5000 if you put the work in. That wear spot looks easy enough to repair even for a non-pro restorer.

Yes I have someone who has my money in Vegas and makes my weekly bets. I go there once a year.

I know obviously all odds etc mini box is the dumbest game IMO. I don't play max odds on pass I play max lay on don't pass and hop the sevens huge when the tables cold. I've only seen a handful of players who play max bet max odds and do well on craps. The table would have to be hot. On the other hand; on a cold table I sometimes will buy ever DC number with max lays. Very rare I get crushed on that but when I do it's for a lot. I deleted all prior posts idk why I let random people get the best of me, I have nothing to prove and just am trying to sell a game lol. Btw that's weird most dealers here at all three casinos smoke cigs and trees; only the Chinese ones are bothered by the smoke.

#100 4 years ago

the come out roll is your best odds in the house. Combine that with your chance on making your come point...pass line is a true 50/50. Don't pass, your come out roll is heavily against you. If your point is 8 or 6, now your really in trouble. Least with don't pass you can take your bet off, but you already missed your best chance roll on the come out.
