Sorry for the confusion while trying to make a snarky "mod" crack.
Use the checks the game supplies meaning to use the games utilities. Unplug any mod and put in test mode. First check that each switch triggers and then coil test for Gumball machine.

Some times it is just a fuse. If you have a local place that sells Slo-Blo fuses good for you.
