Few things that he should do . Reset all the ribbon cables a few times In the back box. If they are original have him get a whole new set . Also have him purchase the 5v rest board . It is really easy plug and play and helps . Definitely look around the batteries for any leakage what so ever because these are prone to do fu my things when those battles get to the board .
