Quoted from Gorgar666:

Question: Is it important to return the hands to the original position? I took mines apart and did see that it is suggested to return to original….

Uh, if you don't, the hands will never align properly.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the question..

Quoted from Gorgar666:

If the hands where removed at 3:16 do you need to be placed back at 3:16? I don’t know what the time was originally…

Oh, BIG YES.

If you don't remember what time the clock had, then follow the manual, and put ALL the gears in one by one, following the instructions. This will verify that all gears are aligned properly. (Following the directions, when you reassemble all the gears, the clock will be as midnight when you're finished.)

I just ordered the manual thank you!!!

No worries! PDF would have worked too, if you're in a hurry.

Quoted from knazzo:

If still needed, i have a complete original Twilight Zone Prototype Clock Assembly for sale.

Prototype or SAMPLE?

#30 6 months ago
Quoted from knazzo:

It has the original Prototype Clock Decal.

Can you get a pic? All the prototype decals were replaced by the white clock faces during development of the game, though it's possible one or two got out.

Quoted from knazzo:

You are right, it's a sample clock. Decal is the white one, prototype is different.

Damn, thanks for checking! I have an actual proto playfield, and was REALLY hoping you actually DID have the proto clock, because they'd look fantastic together!

Neat. I’ve never seen that before.

Thank you for checking out the PinWiki - http://www.PinWiki.com/

Yeah - because the clock originally had controlled (lamp matrix) lamps in it, if I recall right they were going to have the clock me 'more interactive' - but penny pinchers, yadda yadda.. IMHO, while it would have been neat, that color pattern/scheme, for me, doesn't fit well with anything else on the game.
