The door area in the center of the playfield was designed to use 4 flashers, using two small circuit boards for flash lamps under the large door panel.
This design is still in the manual, and shown in the red prototype panel.

(Pictures from HEP gallery.)

During the conversation with Jimakost (he is doing a cool TZ scratch build), he mentioned that he is looking for lamp boards, including a door lamp board. My goal was to create a door panel with the integration of 4 flashers, operated by 4 different playfield flashers.
Aftermarket mods with small PCB only replace the GUM and BALL flashers, that's the only chance for sample/production games, only 2 holes are available for flasher extension.
The LOCK 1-2 flashers cannot be installed into these boards (unless you are ready to hack it) - there is no hole on the PCB for extra flashers.

Few years ago GLM introduced a lamp board with 4 flashers - however the control was based on only 2 playfield flashers (GUM, BALL), not 4.

My door panel contains all feature lamps (original twist-in design for bulb or LED's) and the 4 flasher area, controlled by 4 flashers as per designer's intention. Every insert area contains 4 small LED flashers for even light distribution, and the feature lamp remain in the center. Connection to factory lamp harness via plug&play harness, no soldering required.

In case of flasher activity*, the door panel flashers are also activated.

(*These 4 flashers)
Upper left insert, GUM -》upper left ramp flasher
Upper right insert, BALL -》upper right ramp flasher
Lower left insert, LOCK 1 -》pop bumpers flasher
Lower right insert, LOCK 2 -》upper right flipper flasher

PRICING INFO:
Price of lamp board with built in flashers is $120 shipped. Kit contains board and plug&play harness (no sockets, no spacers).

Thanks to coyote for clarification of flasher locations.

In Europe, shipping is only $2 less (no joke).

What type of LED are the 4 small flashers?

It's Cree standard LED, 22450 mcd/each luminous intensity (warm white/red/etc possible). It's bright enough, but not extreme bright.

#davi as per our PM, I am in for one of these as well as the black/gold JD custom crane. I will following up with the PM.

Thank you!

Will this work with OCD LED? I just installed on my TZ and love the result, especially on the door.

Count me in one way or another, this is cool.

Yes, it will work. No change on controlled lamps. You can keep your LED's and/or bulbs in twist-in sockets from original board, then install to the new board.

Thanks guys, my list is updated.

Thanks for everyone. Due to intensive requests, I need to change the strategy:

1. Batches
I have to create batches (15 pieces/batch). Your request is the 1st slot in 3rd batch.
First 2 batch is in production.

2. I had to change the process: boards will now be SMD fabricated as much as possible (flashers remains THT). This means consistent quality, and faster order fulfilment. The automated placement process costs more, but I am not going to increase the price.

I appreciate your commitment and change to your process to meet demand. Definitely look forward to seeing this board in action.

My only comment is that SMD components (just the resistors and diodes?) make field repairs more problematic, as lots of folks can't solder SMD components very well. Just a thought for future repairs and support when they fail. I believe that failure rates on those components should be quite low, so maybe it's no big deal.

Exactly, change to SMD is only for standard diodes and resistors. You are right, failure rate is basically zero. Selected SMD components are quite big, almost same size as THT. Instead of smallest and cheapest ones, I selected bigger versions, for easier repair (hopefully not required).

I am actually FOR this change. Faster production, and more available parts as TH stuff becomes more and more phased out.
