I searched through the forums and did not find an exact answer so here it goes. I just picked up a Twilight Zone and need to replace the board in the clock. A very good friend of mine says to stay away from a particular model so I wanted to see what is recommended as far as aftermarket PCB and where to get it?

Thank you

I put a Rottendog board in mine. It's been working perfectly for over two years.

I've heard nothing but great reviews and ease of installs about Ingo's board:

He's revised it many times and the LED's he uses in it are spectacular. I will definitely be buying one of his boards. There are a couple threads around here about his clock boards if you do a search for "Ingo TZ clock".

Ingo is what I got, amazing so far.

Mine has a Rotdog, works great.
I would buy Ingo's if i needed one.

I ended up with Ingo's board. Very friendly guy and top-notch service. His board works perfect and I even bought an extra set of the 'rainbow' LED's.

Thanks for the tips.

Just installed Ingo's Board with the Rainbow LED's. Looks Awesome I have to say. Great service, great product.

Ingos is amazing. That being said I will sell you my old one if you want. Half the price of Ingos or RD.

Has anyone been able to get in touch with "Ingo" lately? I'm trying hard to get one of his TZ clocks and he hasn't replied to any of my messages. I get that the guy has a day job and all, but if he's out of the business of making these clocks then I guess I'll get a rottendog.

Also, do the rottendog clocks look like they're LED powered (I know they are) or do they look like normal lights? I really like the authentic, non-LED look of my TZ and won't want to drop in a extremely bright LED-looking clock. I'm hoping for one that looks incandescent, if that makes sense.

how much? and has anyone been in contact recently? thanks

#12 10 years ago

I have the Ingo board myself. Nice guy and his board works 100% no issues. I also bought a alternate 'rainbow' set of LEDs I have yet to try.

I was going to go RottenDog but people recommended Ingo over that one.

#13 10 years ago

I got the rainbow LED's and just put them in. I highly recommend them they look really good. Board has been fine too.

#14 10 years ago

Do you have the b/w prototype face installed or the standard color one?

#15 10 years ago

I had standard colour but switched it our for the b/w. I think b/w is the only way to go with the rainbow LEDs

I put up a review of Ingo's 1.7 board about half a year ago, which includes a price indication. See thread: http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/ingo-kramers-tz-clock-board-rev-17-impressions

Ingo's emailadres is: [email protected]

As far as I know all the replacements work well.
