Hey!

I’m looking to add a 3rd magnet to my twilight zone.

I’m told that there were kits with instructions at some point but are no longer available.

How do I get started?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Richard!

I recently installed the 3rd magnet into my game, however I had enormous help from another pinsider, dmacy, who was swapping my playfield for one with the 3rd magnet core hole pre-drilled.

I tried documenting the process as thoroughly as I could in the club thread. It’s not technically difficult, but it’s a demanding job that requires a fair bit of effort.

This isn’t a weekend project, and basically requires a near full tear down of the upper playfield, especially if you’re going to have to drill a hole into your playfield for the magnet. Here’s a link to that instruction:
