Mine has factory installed mylar under ramp. Looks like the back side of the rivets chew through the mylar and into the playfield more from consequential ball hits to the side edge of the metal at the end of the ramp (i.e. when the ramp is hit from the side, not when you send the ball up the ramp) rather than the up and down motion from lifting and dropping the ramp.
I've tried putting a small piece of adhesive foam on the backside of the rivets but that ends up lifting the metal ramp edge up off the playfield ever so slightly.
Hoping someone comes up with a better fix - seems if the plastic part of the ramp was shorter and the metal part longer, the rivets would move further up the ramp and thus have more clearance underneath when the ramp's down.
