Okay, I checked my game and the metal base is covered in what appears to be a damn near metal colored decal. His is showing wear and coming off which is what you see in the picture. I am surprised that they wrapped it in a decal that loos like just raw metal. Anyway, makes more sense now. That said, 500 games of that bash toy getting, well, bashed? It makes sense a decal would wear. Play on!!!
