Any suggestions?
Looking at a similar system, my Metallica also uses SAM.
F5 (7amp) sits between J10 and J11. j11 is your 48vac out - coils.
If you disconnect J11, put in a good fuse, and power up, does that fuse still blow?
If so.. The driver board has a fault. Otherwise it is somewhere "else". Something as simple as two wires rubbing together where they should not. Or a diode being shorted out (touching where it should not, or just flat out failed). Cafefully inspect all the coil connections, their diodes, and follow the wiring for the coils to see if you can spot where things cut/bite/short with other things.
The above is from my reading of this in the met manual; double check the manual for your game.
