i just want to let you know, that I build a BG LED mod too. I talked with nodyeliab and he had no problems with that because he is still very busy at the moment. I love his idea!

This mod works a little different. It takes the power from the BG ramp coil. So the girl will be light white when the ramp goes up. It flashes 3 times at start to show the BG mode begin. Flash red and fade to black when hit. Synchron to the synth pin sound. After 4 successful hits, the light (red and white) flashes 3 times to show that the mode is done.

It takes over 1 hour for soldering one board. We don´t make this about the money. My wife and me have fun to make this great machine more better.
We send out 10 boards in germany and the everyone is happy with it.

The video also shows a tower spotlight simulation with 3 LED. But this is an other mod.

I hope everyone got his mod. Unfortunately it seems that the shipping time to Australia takes much longer.

One guy notice that the white light isn't stable (flickering). That is not a issue it it a feature to simulate a broken light like in near every movie.
The end has also changed. From flashing 3 times to fast flashing white to fast flashing red. It is the same sequence like the prison toy after hitting with firmware 1.28.

For everyone who like a mod, you can decide what you want.

One question about to finished BG with code 1.41:

With default settings the BG need 3 hits for a multikill and 4 hits to finish?

As yoyokopter said. The mod count the hits and play a light secuence after finishing 4 hits as default. You can adjust the required number of hit with removing the chip and bend pin 2 (-1 hit) or pin 7 (+ 1hit) out of the socket.

On my machine I change the settings to 4 hits. It is easy for me to get BG.

With the new code I notice that the blue light is flashing while BG ramp is up. But the BG mod works still fine!!!
