It is what it is. There's enough bitching on here about everything when it comes to Stern. I'm not going to get into all that, pently of other dead end threads addressing that.

I kinda disagree about pricing. I think it's about $10-$15 over (prolly sterns royalty). I say that based on other mods I have bought from Mezel and the size. I have the woodbury, hitchiker, and cemetery arch(met) among others. I guess once I get one in my hands i'll have a better idea. I still think it's good for Mezel that Stern is accepting his/her mods and who knows what that will mean for Mezel in the future....

And I agree with the other posts; unnecessary, overpriced, doesn't interact with the ball, etc. The Mcfarlane tower looks really nice though, and it's cheaper.
I'm not bashing Stern. I think this is their pinball renaissance period actually. Them being able to sell a plastic tower for $100 with an LED behind it proves that. I mean how many people would have bought mods for High Roller Casino? If you like it and can afford to buy it, go for it! Enjoy yourselves! Heck, I'd love to have a Walking Dead machine someday, with or without the tower!
Well then sorry my topic seemed that way. I'm all in for whatever mods they have for the TWDLE. I'm not going to waste time nit picking what stern should or shouldn't do as far as mods/pricing. When I purchased it I didn't know where it went and I had looked at the Mcfarlane one a couple weeks ago and realized it was too tall and worried about durability seeing as it has to be assembled. And to follow that up I had wanted to have a tower (and was looking to try to incorporate one around the left ramp) so I guess I got caught up and bought it w/out really worrying about where it was placed. So chalk this up to a misunderstanding on both ends. It's all good!
